The Wedding Connection

The Wedding Connection was a great place to get a wedding dress! I had so many complements on my dress (some even from some of the male guests at my wedding...which was very cool!)They had a good amount of dresses at their location, but also had that small, cozy, intimate feel and really made you feel special and one of a kind in the process! It was a one stop shop for me!I came in several times to try on my dress with different items as I bought them for the dress and they were so kind and caring everytime I was in there. All the staff took interest in the wedding and the details and it was so sweet when I came in the last day to pick up my dress, they all were very excited for me and that made me feel very special! It was a great feeling to have such a wonderful experience in finding my dream dress and being able to have awesome and great staff to help me along the way.

I have never ever been treated so poorly in my life. We were immediately scolded when we walked in the door for not seeing the "remove shoes" sign on the door. When we started to remover our shoes, she said "Making that face is not going to help!" I told her I couldn't believe how rude she was being, and the rudeness continued. She completely ruined what was supposed to be an exciting time for my daughter and I and it was all we could talk about the entire rest of the day. We did finally end up at the Wedding Shoppe on Grand ave and had a marvelous time. The store was completely empty at the time, and I certainly know why. I really hope that no one patronizes such a terrible terrible place.

This bridal shop was not very professional on how they handled my wedding party's dresses. They were extremely rude to me when the relocated from Forest Lake, MN to Maplewood, MN. I drove to the Forest Lake location one afternoon and the store was totally empty after I had just been there less than a month prior. There was a young lady moving stuff out still and when I asked what was going on. She just went off, told me that the message was on the recorder and that I should of know that i can go to the new store when they open, when I said that I may just go somewhere else. She told me "GO AHEAD" I left a message on their phone for the mgr on how I had just been treated, and that if that was not how they ran their business to call me back. I got a call the next day and up until I bought my dress they were great after that, but after I gave them the money, they went back to being rude and snappy with my bridesmaids. The one and only young lady that I 1st started working with the day I stepped in this store no longer works there. I can only imagine why she doesn't. She was the best!!! They are argumentative with you over the phone, not so much to our face, just over the phone when told things different then what they 1st tell you when you are in the store on price, and day of delivery both seem to change. I feel they are Very judgmental too.Highly do not recommend this store!!!!!

I used the Wedding Connection in Maplewood for everything. I got my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, mom's dress and tuxes here. It was so nice everyhing in one place. They were so helpful and if I had a question everything was there to look at. The owner and staff were also so friendly and helpful. They have great ideas and are always willing to listen and give suggestions of things we did not think of. When I now look at my wedding pictures I just smile because everything was perfect. I loved it at the Wedding Connection and am soooooo glad that is where I went.

I have mixed feelings about this - my wedding dress was nice, but I mostly felt pressured to buy it. Since it was the third store we visited, I just caved. Their sales pressure was a lot more than anywhere we shopped at and I'll always regret my decision a little.

I have bought several dresses from the Wedding Connection and they have all been wonderful. From my prom dress, bridesmaids dresses, and my wedding gown. they are all very helpful and can find anything you want in a dress. the dress I had wanted I saw in a catalog, they carried the brand but they didn't have that dress on the rack, but they were more than happy to order it in for me.

I got my wedding dress at the Wedding Connection. It was actually the first place I went to! The employees were very helpful and knowledgable. They were very nice about listening to my likes/dislikes. They remembered who I was and what dress I had when I came into the store. I would highly recommend the Wedding Connection to friends. It was an hour drive each way for me to get there - but well worth it!

Dennis from Wedding Connection Photography was an absolute professional. He is extremely creative with his photography, takes amazing photos, and makes the day long of picture taking a really enjoyable experience.

The wedding connection was an absolutely wonderful experience. They made me feel like a Princess. Not to mention the atmosphere was fabulous. If you have the opportunity to check out wedding connection, please try to get Destiney to help you with everything. She was a tramendous help and it is easier to deal with one person instead of repeating yourself over and over to other employees.

I thought the owner of the shop was very professional and new how to listen to me when I discribed what kind dress I was looking for. They are very clean and professional. I have recommend a number of my friends to them already

The wedding connection that I had gone too was not as good as I had hoped. None of my bridesmaids got a discount because I did not get my dress altered there, when they told me 'yes they would get a disscount.' They didn't know what date the bridesmaids dresses would be in and it was a month before the wedding. The grooms men got their tuxs there and none of them fit so they had to send it back. One of my friends was over charged because one cuff was missing and she found it in her truck later that same day and gave it back to them, but they charged her $10 for it. I was not happy with them on what they did.

Meg is such a wonderful person to work with!!! She anticipates your needs and is more helpful that anyone!!!
