Diane is a wonderful, thoughtful officiant. From the first time we met her, we could tell that she loves marrying couples. She said she would work with us every step of the way to create a unique ceremony that would represent us, and that is exactly what she did! She gave us gentle reminders when we fell behind on planning and was always responsive via email or phone. On the day of the wedding, she was calm, prepared and professional. She exuded enthusiasm and made us laugh and smile on more than one occasion. In the end, she helped us create such a special ceremony and we are so thankful that we found her. Many of our friends and family commented on how wonderful she was, and one of our friends that is getting married in September wants to see if she is available for their wedding! Diane is very open-minded that she created a segment of unity sand for us. She is also every efficient. Diane was the best thing that could have happened to my wedding day! She was so involved since the first day we spoke. I was able to personalize the ceremony to make it perfect for us. I am very creative and playful so laughter between us will be very common.
Each wedding is unique and different in so many ways.

Sand ceremonies, Unity candle, Wine ceremonies the selections go on and on.

I have performed remembrance of loved ones as well as acknowledging parents. Also the blending of children in the ceremony if one or both has children. Any ideas you have discovered or would like me to research I shall.
I will send many suggestions via email and phone conversations for you to take your time and examine.
We together make each word each moment memorable.
My main comment to all my couples is.. “Let’s have fun”

My fee is very reasonable for the rehearsal the ceremony and all the hours of preparation.
A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required to put your wedding in my wedding journal.
For “Holiday” weekends there is a additional charge

I will travel further to be with you, with no additional charge “for my service”.

this is what is done.
New York State Weddings:
The bride and groom provide me with a safe room to stay in the night before the wedding at their expense.
This allows my presence for the rehearsal and the day of your wedding with no concern of traveling a long way. In certain circumstances due to wedding being later in the day a late checkout will be needed.
This is necessary for my having a place to get dressed for your wedding ceremony
My presence will be at the wedding site one hour prior to the ceremony
Out of state weddings
Accommodations as above, and flight paid for by couple.

It is your ceremony..
Usually I wear a nice dress and a white robe.
From the beginning to the completion you are very involved in this process. I spend hours being as creative as I can. As an author I understand the essence of words. We all together will create the most amazing ceremony that you will love, and all those who attend will as well..
Yes, I truly must admit I have been known to make grown men shed a tear or two.. How fun that is...
They can read them from a paper at the ceremony. Or occasionally I will read them and they each will repeat after me.
There is no right or wrong in this. I am here to make you smile not be worried over this. We will discuss it to your satisfaction.
I will travel further to be with you. My rate is the same to whether your 5 minutes from me or 200 miles.
If the distance is further than 40 miles
The couples provide at their expense a one night stay in a local hotel or motel for me to be in the night before the wedding.
This way I can focus on them and the ceremony and not driving lengthy distances the night before or the day of.
I have also been finding lovely locations for your ceremony if you choose to have it inside.
This I am hearing is difficult for couples to find.
I will find them for you.
I have spoken to various venue owners and have all the information you will need to consider locations.
When you contact me I will discuss this further with you.
