What music genres are in your collection?
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Acoustic, Big Band, Classic Rock, Classical, Country, Dance, Folk, Funk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Orchestra, Pop, Punk Rock, R&B, Rock, Soul, Strings, Swing, World
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Wedding reception style is totally adaptable to your wants wishes and desires
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
No, unless the amount comprimises the couples selections.
What is your usual attire?
Weddings are Tuxedo formal unless couple specified
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
I will try to obtain the song, however if the couple wants to provide some music that is fine. I require nothing.
How many other DJs do you work with?
usually one assistant
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
By the hour rates are available.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
If convenient 2 Personal (face to face) planning meetings are desired.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
African American or any other of the planets multi-cultural Weddings are professionally serviced
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Absolutley
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. Professional dual CD console with a dynamic 4 speaker system
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
basic and specialty lights available
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
2 hours setup time, one 6 ' Table , 1 chair (if possible)
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Not usually, I try to use as small a footprint as possible
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
Yes
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Ole' favorites from the 80's usually get people moving. Utilizing the bride and groom desire for everyone to celebrate and enjoy with them. Guest participation dance floor activites.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Yes
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
As a member of American DJ Association, emergancy replacement arrangements can be made
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
I feel that lacks professionalism and is unfair to my clients.
What is your overtime rate?
$50.00 per Half Hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
First 50 miles free. $50.00 per 50miles there after. Excluding DJ included destination receptions.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
$100.00 non-refundable
