My Husband and I were married in July,2011. We had hired Rev. Barbara Woods.She was late to every meeting set up. Not at Wedding Day when told she would be there(later but on time). Late to the rehearsal. She rescheduled 2 meetings last miniute (medical reasons?) Filed our marriage licensed wrong, hard time getting her there to fix it and file it! Still have not received or keep- sake marriage certificate. Not at all what we expected or was told to expect from her.

My husband & I used reverend Barbara Woods for our wedding on July 4th, 2011. All I can say is we should have looked forward. We had two meetings with her prior to our wedding & on both occassions items were forgotten & communication was great until we paid her. At that time the emails stopped!! I would have to call or text her & she would just tell me to email her. We didn't find out our ceremony until 1 hour prior to our ceremony. We had told her on numerous occassions things we either didn't want or we wanted changed in our ceremony, on the day of our wedding we were taking a pen & changing things. During our ceremony she stumbled over her words on numerous occassions. We had stated to her that due to a medical condition it was very important that our license get sent to the local clerks office, so I could get my medical insurance changed. She stated to us that it would be sent by certified mail the next day. I contacted the clerks office 8 days later & they still had not received it! I called the reverend and she said she would call the post office & find out where it was. I called the clerks office on the 14th & they said they did receive it. So basically it should have been mailed on the 5th & the envelope wasn't post marked until the 13th & it was not sent certified mail. It feels really strange to be lied to by a reverend.

Rev. Woods was wonderful. She was very gracious. She helped us plan our entire ceremony and was not pushy. She wanted our day to be as special as it could be. She is also kind and warm and don't forget she has a wonderful sense of humor. We have recommended her to all of our friends and will continue to do so.

I am passionate about providing professional services that will lead to a uniquely personal service. Weddings vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. I am non-denominational, support same sex marriages, and a full spectrum of all faiths. I believe in the universal right of two people to commit to sharing a life together. Religiousness is a state of personal advancement in a higher power and not simply a place in a church. Many individuals do not have a home church, or family minister to look to in times of need. My purpose is to provide services individuals need that many churches refuse when not members of their church. I believe that spiritual growth comes from finding the truth in our individual ways throughout life. I am proud of my calling, and my official authority through the Universal Life Church to perform needed services, since 2009, on behalf of people’s faith and beliefs. My destiny is to serve with compassion, love and faith for everybody, remembering to always bring comfort, aid and encouragement to all that come to me.
