Gabby was our Day of Coordinator on 8-31-08 at the Wilshire Ebell Club. She is a true gem! She is fair in her pricing and honestly, could charge a lot more for her talents and service!!! She definitely made our wedding the best it could be. Gabby is a take charge girl who gets things done with grace and charm. She helped us above and beyond our expectations. She put together our entire rehearsal (in place of our Rabbi who was not able to make it). She grabbed her notebook and took charge. She walked us through every ceremony detail with ease. She arrived early and stayed later than necessary. She boxed up every single item from our reception and put it in the Groom’s car at the end of the night. She even had our cake boxed up. I found things in the boxes that I never expected to see again. She is very thorough and very thoughtful.
She is quick to respond to any and all problems. The problems were handled without my knowing and everything magically came together! She also aided with a seating mishap (I left someone off the list!) – she was able to politely explain to the guest that it was ‘her’ fault and the card must have been misplaced. She also drove all the way to Glendale to take our cake stand back to the cake maker! She definitely goes above and beyond the call of duty – and does it happily. Gabby is not scared to make decisions on her own, which is a huge benefit to any bride.
I could go on and on, but Gabby is the best girl for your wedding!!! You will not be disappointed. She is really smart and extremely knowledgeable about weddings (and many other things). She is very creative and offers ideas without being overbearing. She is prompt, courteous, VERY professional and extremely sweet and easy to work with. She dresses for the occasion and always looks beautiful! At the end of the night, she was calling the staff (at our venue) by their names – which was a big plus because it shows that she works well with others and gets them in her ‘corner’ so they’re more willing to help if anything goes wrong.
Another important thing to note is that Gabby is passionate about her work. She LOVES weddings and will make your wedding as special as her own. She values the importance of a stress free day and does everything in her power to achieve that. You will not have to worry about ANYTHING when Gabby is on the job. You can trust her with your vision and carrying out every detail you wish.
I wish there were more stars to add for Gabby. She was wonderful and a lifesaver on the day of the wedding. She is a day-of coordinator only, which is all I was looking for. I enjoyed the planning part but I really needed help to run-the-show the day-of. I confidently handed everything over to her and she ran with it. She's smart, organized and knows how a wedding/reception is supposed to run. She handled the details without me having to worry or know what was going on. I can't say enough nice things about her!
I was married on November 1, 2008 at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Ca. I was never really worried about doing the planning on my own but I knew a DOC was a MUST!
The minute I met Gabby I knew she was the perfect DOC for me! Though I did not need much help during the planning process Gabby was great about sending emails to check in on me!
Gabby and I met the week before the wedding to go over final details. After that meeting Gabby created the timeline for me, which was a HUGE help! From there she contacted all of the vendors and arranged and confirmed the timing of their arrival and set up. Which may not seem like a big deal but trust me to have someone take care of that is a big help!
At that meeting she also realized that my mom had wanted to get table overlays but we never took the time to make it happen. By the next day Gabby had arranged table overlays for me! This is a perfect example of one of the many things she took upon herself to make happen so that my day was perfect!
Gabby continued to go the extra mile with the reception set up by finding us chair covers, the day of the wedding! Though we did not end up using them that is just another example of how far she goes to make the day special!
I had a semi-destination wedding and left on Thursday to start our wedding weekend! After the meeting we had that Monday night I was able to let go and allow her to take over! I had little to do after that meeting because I knew Gabby was on top of it. And once I left Thursday I NEVER worried about a thing. The day of the wedding, Saturday, I was never bothered with anything, she did it all. If anything went wrong that day I still don't know about it!
I think hiring a DOC is the best decision a bride can make it but only if they hire the right one. Gabby is remarkable at her job and will think of things you haven't and make things happen that you just didn't have time or energy to take care of yourself!

Ditto the last reviewer. I never thought I'd get a coordinator of any kind, but I am now a believer in the DOC (Day Of Coordinator). I liked that none of my friends or family would have to run around like crazy, that she would make sure everything went smoothly and would take care of paying vendors, making sure gifts didn't disappear, etc. It was like buying peace of mind. Well worth it!
My husband and I (with the help of our families) pretty much DIY'ed everything, had a tiny budget and a tiny guest list (about 40 people), and Gabby was supportive and helpful from the very start.
On the day of the wedding, Gabby came right on time, looked professional (and beautiful) and basically made sure we didn't have to worry about anything. She made sure we had a snack after our ceremony and before dinner started, connected with the people we'd chosen to help put our wedding together and even moved all of our ceremony chairs to make it look better. She offered to pick stuff up for us while we lived across the country, she picked up caramel apples for us on the day of the wedding, she called everyone the night before just to touch base, she worked smoothly with our caterer and catering staff...
I could go on and on. In short: Gabby is a smiling force of organized calm that any bride or groom would be lucky to have-- and her prices are very fair. She saw that we were doing such a tiny affair and even gave us a price break. NOBODY in the wedding industry does that. Call Gabby before she's booked up, and I promise you won't regret it.
I thought I could plan my wedding myself, what with my long 13 month engagement, and my love for all things creative...but early on in the process I discovered that wedding planning creates a unique stress for the bride and groom. My husband and I decided to hire a wedding coordinator and contacted Gabriella at the recommendation of a coworker of mine.
Boy am I glad that we did that. Although she's a Day-Of Coordinator, she really is more than that. She offers phone help and unlimited email support, plus recommendatiosn for vendors she's worked with in the past. She doesn't call and book people for you, but she sure does lead the horse to the various watering holes - and all of it is included in her Day-Of price!
Everything that could go wrong in my planning process did go wrong. We lost a DJ, then the flower person, a bridesmaid and then a groomsman. Gabby was there every step of the way - she offers unlimited email support and helped us feel like everything was going to be ok. I emailed her frantically that I'd lost the DJ - no problem! She immediately sent us a list of over a dozen DJ's she recommended using. We found the right one right away. The same thing happened with the flower vendor.
When the wedding finally rolled around, she was perfect. She took all the pressure off of us - we knew we were in amazing hands. She coordinated the rehearsal so beautifully that I knew the next day would be amazing. On my wedding day I didn't have to worry about anything. ANYTHING. Things are going wrong? No problem. Gabby put me at ease. Without her I have no doubt I would not have enjoyed my wedding day as much as I did.
To boot - Gabby is so affordable! My husband is a graduate student and I work at a non-profit and her price tag didn't make us wince...and it's easy to make us wince. If I had it to do all over again, Gabby would be the first person I'd call. She's also the first person I recommend to anyone getting ready to tie the knot.
We love her!
