Weddings by VPP did an excellent job as the photographers at our wedding. They took all the photos that we had in mind as well as poses that they thought would look good. They all came out beautiful and will let our wonderful day live on in our memories. Picture-taking can be one of the more stressful, hectic parts of the day, but Gerry did an excellent job of keeping everything in order and everyone doing what they should for the poses. Loved the candid photos of the reception! He caught every special moment beautifully.

VPP provided excellent service for my graduation. Everything went perfectly and I get to remember it all thanks to the photographer's expertise. I will definitely be enlisting them for any event I have in the future!

I used Weddings By VPP for my bridal portraits as well as the wedding day photography. I love them!! Both the bridal portraits and wedding day portraits turned out GREAT! They are very dedicated at what they do and truly do care about what you want/like. They are extremely flexible too! I definitely plan on using them in the future for a family photo session!

Despite photographing hundreds and hundreds of weddings over the last 30 years, each wedding we’re a part of is as special as the first one. Every couple is unique, every location is distinct, and every captured moment is treasured. We would love the opportunity to photograph your special day, one memory at a time. We provide two photographers at every wedding and full coverage with no time limit as well as free engagement photo sessions.

What do your packages include?

Albums

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

We edit the photos as needed to ensure proper tone, color and exposure.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes, we have been photographing weddings for over 30 years.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We prefer digital photographs, because they allow for a wide variety of editing and sharing capabilities. However, we also maintain a stock of film cameras that are available upon request.

How many photographers do you work with?

We bring two photographers to every wedding that we photograph. That way, we can guarantee multiple perspectives and angles of each important picture.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Absolutely! The person you meet with prior to your wedding is the same person that will be leading your wedding photography during the special day.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Nikons and extra back-up Nikon cameras

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Of course! You're precious memories can only be caught once, so we would never want to risk missing a single moment.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

All of our packages include all-day coverage with no "extra hours" fee.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

There is no charge for "extra hours." You have us for your entire special day!

Do you charge for travel?

Currently, we cover the entire state of Virginia with no extra travel fees. Please contact us regarding travel pricing for out of state weddings.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Typically, we try to have your pictures available for you to view in our password-protected online album within 7 days. Sometimes we're able to have them ready quicker, but we never want to rush through your special memories!

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes. We offer a password-protected online album for all weddings and photo sessions that we take. You have the option of choosing the password or choosing no password at all if you'd like.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of albums; both traditional style as well as more modern 'coffee table' style books. Contact us for more details, including samples!
