Since we got married in December in Ohio, we wanted wedding insurance just in case something happened with the weather. Since we were also serving alcohol, we wanted to cover ourselves in case something happened. WedSafe had the best price for the coverage we were looking for. Thankfully we didn't need to use the insurance, but we are still happened we had in just in case.

I luckily did not ever have to file a claim but I felt 100% better about my upcoming wedding after I purchased insurance from WedSafe. I was very happy with the price I paid and what it covered. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone getting married- a wedding is VERY expensive and to spend a little extra to ensure yourself the peace of mind - just in case - is WELL worth it!

Great received our wedding insurance with in the hour after we ordered in online. Received it via email which made it easy to save and send to vendors that required it.

This was an easy and affordable way to make sure that we had liability insurance for the wedding since we served liquor and our venu did not have a liquor lisence. My caterer is also an insurance professional and he looked over this for me and said that it was just what I needed and very affordable.

We paid about $180 to insure our $11,000 or so wedding. It was very worth it. It was super easy to register online. Less than a month after taking our deposit our shady ex-venue went out of business, keeping our deposit. I let wedsafe know immediatly. I didn't file right away because there was a chance my old venue would pay me back, I just wanted them to be aware of the potential problem. They opened a file for me. Fast forward 6 months and I have gotten some but not all my money back and was tired of waiting. So I filed the claim. Witihin 2 weeks I had a refund check in my hand. I ended up returning the check because my old venue finally paid me back. But Wedsafe is highly recommended to give you peace of mind for your big day.

This seems to be the site to go to for wedding liability insurance when your own insurance company won't cover you. It was fast and easy to sign up. Once you sign up, they will send you a copy and a copy directly to your venue. My facility required liability coverage of a million. I paid $195 in early 2006 for this coverage.

Wedding insurance covers cancellation/postponement, vendors going out of business, lost deposits, damage to wedding attire, gifts, photos and video. It's worth it to pay $405 to cover a $50,000 wedding. That's less than a 1% cost. There are policies to cover $7,500 weddings up to $175,000 weddings. One of my vendors went out of business, luckily after my wedding, but had it been before my wedding, the wedding insurance would have recovered my deposits.
"Thank you so much for your assistance. I chose your company in the end solely because of your great customer service."
"I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation.
I had heard about the WedSafe Insurance when I was planning my wedding and thought it was a great idea. I went ahead and purchased the liability and cancellation policy never intending to use it, but it’s that “just in case” insurance!
Unfortunately last Friday a bride’s worst nightmare came true. I was informed that my wedding venue was shut down by the county and would not be re-opening by our wedding date.
I am so thankful for the ease of this process in such a stressful situation. I can assure you that I will be recommending your insurance company to ALL future brides I know!! Thank you again!"
"I would like to express my appreciation to your organization for the professional and friendly service provided to me and my family. Each time we called everyone was pleasant, helpful and had a solid knowledge of your business.
"Many of the companies we contacted treated us less than professionally because they knew if we didn't get the insurance our event would not take place. Your company supplied quick responses and we were set. Thanks for being a company that believes in customer service and supplies it."
"I decided to get wedding insurance because I am making such a huge financial investment in the event, and it makes me feel better about the whole thing to know that if something goes wrong for some reason I will be able to enjoy it anyway."
"For the cost of our wedding, we could have bought a nice car. We'd never drive around a new car without insurance. Why would we plan our wedding without insuring it?"
"This was my second wedding, and I had my first honeymoon blown away by a hurricane. Plus, my brother wound up suing the DJ at his reception because he showed up 1 hour late. Another friend wound up suing their hall because they didn't have enough food and didn't serve the main course until 10 p.m. when the party ended 11 p.m. We just got married three weeks ago, and I just found out today that my photographer has decided he is going to close up shop in the near future. We don't even have our proofs yet!! Thank God we have this policy! I'm hoping that with any luck we won't have to use it. But it's nice to have it to fall back on."
"The rising cost of weddings has put added stress on military weddings. With deployments being made and cancelled due to world actions, the military bride and groom have greater stress than a nonmilitary wedding. WedSafe helps them have some security that they will not cause financial loss for their families if they are detained serving our country."
"We purchased WedSafe insurance because we were having the rehearsal dinner at a private residence, an individual's weekend home. We needed liability coverage for this event."
"I was influenced by my cousin Annette's wedding. She got married in northern NJ the day after hurricane Floyd. It could have been a disaster."
For one day event insurance, they simply can not be beat!

When it comes to ensuring your special day is protected, Wedsafe is the trusted name to use. I've recommended it to all our brides and believe in them so much that my own daughter had her wedding day insured through Wedsafe. A small price to pay for peace of mind. The Ebell of Los Angeles requires, as does most southern California venues, a certificate of liability insurance from those who are renting our historic venue for their event. Our go-to recommendation is WedSafe. When they launched in 1999, I was still an independent wedding planner, and was so excited to have a definitive resource to recommend to my clients. As the Director of Events at The Ebell, being able to refer our brides and grooms to WedSafe's expertise in wedding insurance is even more comforting. Easy and quick, with various options of coverage, WedSafe is a good bet for insuring your wedding day.
WedSafe is a great company, I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding on any budget!
