Wendy is so amazing! I am so thankful that she was the one to cover my special day. When looking for a photographer to shoot my wedding she was the only one I wanted, because I was already familiar with her work and knew that I could trust her with such a special occasion. Wendy also did my Engagement, and Bridal portraits and I knew that there was absolutely no one else that would get the job done as I knew Wendy would. Besides just doing wonderful work, Wendy is the type of person who truly cares about her clients and gives them what they want and so much more! She is very flexible and you can tell by looking at her work that she has a passion for what she does. She works wonders on finding all the special moments to capture of a couple on their special day. She also knows exactly how to capture the emotion of all the friends and family that surround a couple during the intimate moments that matter most. When I look back at all my photos I relive my wedding, and all the moments are so perfectly captured that it brings tears of joy to my eyes. I have even had guest comment on how great it was having Wendy there. It was honestly like having a friend taking all the pictures rather than someone just doing a job! I would recommend Wendy to ANYONE seeking a photographer and I will certainly be using her for all my future photography needs.

Wendy was incredible and made the whole experience fun. My wife and I are not ones who normally enjoy having our photos taken, but Wendy and her assistant made it more than enjoyable. Her eye for details and "special moment" photos is amazing. When I became engaged in August of 2011 I was so excited, but my excitement soon gave way to the anxiety and overwhelming stress of trying to plan a wedding during my senior year of college when the location of our wedding, Mobile, AL, was eight hours away. Almost all of my planning, vendor bookings and viewings had to be done in a very limited amount of time during school breaks or over the phone/via internet. I love pictures and knew that was one area of our wedding I did not want to skimp on, but when I started looking at photographers and their packages I realized that $3000-5000 was the going price for the quality and services I wanted: at least 8 hours, the ability to own my photos, professional quality, etc. My Dad had mentioned to me that two girls in his office had used a local photographer, Wendy Wilson, for their weddings and the pictures were beautiful. So he had one of the girls forward me the website. I instantly fell in love with Wendy’s website; it was so cute and yet professional, she offered a wide array of pictures in her portfolio, and then came the moment of truth….her pricing. It was phenomenal! Everything I wanted at the price I could afford. But what really impressed me the most and made me choose Wendy was that she contacted me. She called to introduce herself, ask if I had any questions and say that she would love to photograph our special day. No other photographer (not even one of my sister’s very good friends) or any other vendor for that matter, made that kind of effort. I was not disappointed in the least with Wendy. She was accommodating to all of my requests, instructions, likes, dislikes, wants, needs, everything in the most professional, yet endearing manner—even though she probably thought I was an insane bridezilla—she did exactly what I wanted while still offering her own artistic and cleaver take on the photography.I did not meet Wendy in person until the day of our wedding (my scheduling conflicts, not her she was always more than willing to meet) and I felt completely at ease with her. She arranged all of us in flattering and creative ways. She was everywhere during the pre-wedding activities, the ceremony, reception and even when the party shut down and everyone went home taking most beautiful photos, capturing moments I was so happy to be able to relive and moments I had missed because I was distracted.And I was not let down after our wedding. Prior to receive our photos she made a gorgeous slide-show and even took the time to set it to our song Friday I’m in Love. Everyone thought it was the neatest thing they had ever seen! My mom even asked for it on DVD. Our photos were sent to us on CDs in the timeliest manner, about 3 1/2 weeks after our wedding, and were received in a unique and thoughtful CD case. It had different pictures from our wedding printed on it, so even the case is a keepsake of our day!Wendy did an amazing job, so much so my Mom wants to take our family pictures with her from now on and Mobile is a 45 minute drive from my parent’s house. She even sent us a Christmas card and ornament for our first Christmas together. If you choose Wendy you will not be disappointed! I was so happy with her. An amazingly talented photographer and the sweetest lady you will ever meet!

Wendy did an outstanding job for both our engagement and wedding photography! She made us feel comfortable, and the images and amazing! She has such an eye, and she even captured those small moments that I didn't even know I would want. Every time I look through our pictures, it's like experiencing the day all over again. I really cannot express how happy I am with our pictures and what a joy it was to work with Wendy!

Wendy sat down with me on several occasions and listened to my vision and offered her opinions and thoughts on what she could contribute. On my wedding day, Wendy listened to my thoughts but added so much more then I ciukdnhave ever thought. Her vision is beyond what you could expect or hope for and I was beyond estastic with my photo album. Wendy is fabululous!

Wendy captured our day so beautifully! Our pictures are absolutely perfect. She not only captured the high points of the day, but the personalities and expressions of our guests--that to me is priceless!

Wendy Wilson is an amazing photographer! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is not only great at the work she does, she is great with working with small children, which was wonderful in my wedding where I had 5 small children in the wedding. She did an absolutely fabulous job on my wedding photography and I am so glad I chose her. I cannot stop looking at the beautiful pictures!!

Wendy Wilson photographed my engagement, and bridal portraits, and our rehearsal dinner and wedding. I could not be more pleased with the finished product. Wendy was an absolute pleasure to work with, and her work more than speaks for itself. Her style is more photojournalistic, and she truly has a knack for capturing special hidden moments on film. It was amazing to everyone who has viewed the pictures how she was able to capture the very essence of who we are, and accurately illustrate the details and the overall feelings from all of our wedding events. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Wendy is deeply passionate about photography, and treats the opportunity to capture your special moments as an honor, not a job. In fairness, I had worked with Wendy as a colleague years before so I already knew her commitment to quality and her strong work ethic.

Wendy was flexible, available and diligent during our event. We were fairly low-key, with just a family dinner on Friday night and a family-only (brief) ceremony, followed by a party the next day. All took place at the same location. We wanted a lot of candid shots, and a more photo-journalistic approach, rather than a bunch of photos of people posing.

Wendy delivered above and beyond what we could have expected. We ended up with hundreds of amazing photos after our event. She captured all the special moments between me and my husband, as well as treasured shots of the guests, the food, and all the other moments that slip by you on that whirlwind of a day.

She also did a great job of organizing the photos in order, so we could look at the dinner, the moments before the ceremony, the ceremony and then the party, to watch the day unfold, one snapshot at a time. We are thrilled with the results and look forward to years and years of great memories with these pictures!
