Westbury Manor

We visited a number of venues before settling on Westbury Manor, and I will say that without any reservation it was by far the best, while the price was more than reasonable (some would call it downright inexpensive).

I can talk about how it is an absolutely beautiful building, outside and in. Dark wood and turn-of-the-century splendor don't even begin to describe it. It is very clean, cozy, and lacks the sterile assembly-line look that most wedding venues have. It's not pretentious with fake chandeliers and fountains in the hallway. It doesn't need to be - it has class.

But what's even more important is the personal treatment we received. Throughout all our visits, even before we booked with them (and very importantly afterwards also), we were treated with the utmost respect and courtesy, and given as much personal attention as we needed. There was always someone to greet us at the door, and even when we had to wait, the wait was both brief and made comfortable by offers of refreshments and a cozy seat in the gorgeous bar area.

After going to 5 weddings besides our own in a year, I will without any reservations say that Westbury manor was by far the classiest.

My gosh, where do I even begin with this?! From the moment that I walked into Westbury Manor, I knew that this would be the place where I would celebrate one of the most special days of my life. Westbury Manor has such a unique feel to it, so different than your typical "wedding factory" catering hall. Not only is it so beautiful on the inside, the gardens and grounds are simply to die for! Especially if you get the chance to see one of the peacocks! We had an almost 2 year engagement, and every day leading up to the big one, WM was an absolute pleasure to work with. I must have e-mailed and called hundereds of times with miscellaneous questions and someone always got right back to me with an answer. Everytime I walked in I was greeted with a warm hello, and asked if I would like a drink, cappucino, tea, anything I wanted! I worked with a few banquet managers, and they were all very sweet. On my wedding day, I was BLOWN away by the outstanding service that WM provided. My MD was Phillip, and my BA was Naomi. They were both always right by my side, and took care of anything that I needed. All of my guests are still raving about all of the food, and mostly the service. They were all so impressed that their table waiter had remembered their drink orders all night, they said they never had an empty glass, and were asked if they wanted seconds or thirds of their food. I really can not say enough good things about Westbury Manor, I will definitely be returning to have more events here. Highly highly highly recommended!!!

I couldn't thank Westbury Manor enough for the outstanding service. Everything turned out gorgeous, the food was excellent and I'm so happy that we chose Westbury Manor. I was initially nervous about the cake but it turned out to be delicious. I found myself nibbling on the leftover cake until it was gone. The portions for the food were very generous and we had a happy, stuffed crowd. My Maitre D' and bridal attendant were on point. They were more prepared for the wedding than I was. Definitely recommend!

We looked high and low for the perfect spot and Westbury Manor was it. They had the most beautiful grounds so it was easy to take photos, mix with the family and eat! We wanted to be at our cocktail hour and had that opportunity. The staff was the greatest - so, so helpful and completely dedicated to making us happy. I can not say enough about the team there - so, so wonderful. I didn't have a day-off coordinator or planner and didn't need one thanks to them. In addition to the amazing staff - absolutely beautiful setting indoors and out. Would have been thrilled even if it rained and that's saying something! The cost was great as well - very fairly priced and EVERY guest raved about the food. Definitely recommend going the extra mile for baby lamb chops and martini slide at the cocktail hour!

Westbury Manor is an amazing wedding venue! It is a beautiful historic mansion with a gorgeous gardens. We loved the place from the first moment we saw it. We had a small wedding so our ceremony and reception were held in the Hill room. We had the entire second floor to ourselves with the second room for cocktail hour (with the balcony), bridal suite and restrooms. We didn't even see the guests from another party downstairs. If you ever looked for a wedding venue for less than 100 guests, you know how difficult it is to find beautiful, with privacy and reasonably priced. This is your place! If you have a larger party, the room downstairs is gorgeous and has access to the gardens.The staff of Westbury Manor is very helpful and friendly - from the banquet manager who first showed us around to bridal attendant and maitre d' on the day of the wedding. They sincerely wish to make your wedding a truly special day and go out of their way to take care of all your wishes. The food was delicious and versatile. We had a lot of options to choose from for the cocktail hour and guests had a choice of 7 entrees for dinner. The place was beautifully decorated. And it is amazing how quickly the staff was able to transform the ceremony room into a reception room while the guests were at the cocktail hour. I would highly recommend Westbury Manor for your wedding! It is a beautiful place, and the attentive staff will make your day magical!

We absolutely loved our Wedding at Westbury Manor! From the moment the first person got there till the last one left every single thing was taken care of! Pam, our Maitre d', was at my side almost every moment making sure I was where I needed to be, made sure I was comfortable and made sure none of my other Vendors took advantage of us, lol. And my Bridal Attendant , Carrie, was the sweetest and most efficient person in the world (net to Pam, hehe). She was always one step ahead of us with a drink or some food before my new husband could even ask! The Food was amazing, The service was Impeccable and the grounds were beautiful (even though we couldn't use them, we were lucky enough to get married duffing Hurricane Irene!!) Every single guest said they had an amazing time, and I know they're telling the truth! I cannot sing the praises of Westbury Manor enough! Why Bother having your function anywhere else?!?!

The service is fantastic, the food is delicious, all of my guests are telling me how amazingly beautiful the venue is, very very very happy with the Westbury Manor.

Westbury Manor is UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

We knew what to expect of Westbury Manor when we booked with them. From the start, they showed professionalism and they showed that they truly care about you.When we arrived at Westbury Manor, we were immediately greeted by our maitre'd and bridal attendant. They made sure we were fed and had our drinks at all times.Everyone was so sweet and they took really good care of us. Our guests couldn't believe the amount of food that was provided and how delicious everything was.We are soo happy that we had our wedding there. It was everything that we wanted and more!

Amazing! I had my wedding here last week and it was out of the world! The staff is amazing and food is incredible...you get SO much! I got a great price since we booked during an "off season" month (March). Everyone commented on how the food was amazing, the grounds were gorgeous, the waitsaff so friendly and everything ran super smoothly. Love them!

I cannot complain at all, about one thing in WM. They were professional and made the wedding planning process less painful and quite helpful. Everyone still raves about the food and I still rave about the service. All catering managers and even bridal assistant were spectacular. The grounds were gorgeous on our wedding night. They even moved my ceremony room downstairs due to a cancellation and so my guests didn't have to go up and down stairs. Cake was delicious, grounds well kept, staff very friendly, and all for a fantastic price.

This was the 2nd place my husband and I toured and we immediately fell in love. Our banquet manager, Felicia was fantastic and always available to answer questions, give some extra tours and act as a mediator when needed. The staff was superb the day of our wedding and we have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests. We would recommend Westbury Manor to any couple looking for a phenomenal wedding experience!

From the very beginning of our wedding planning process, we were blown away by how beautiful it was and how helpful and incredibly friendly the staff at Westbury Manor was. The sales director we worked with, Felicia, was amazing - she was so much fun and made everything so easy for us. Once our big day started to creep up on us, we were contacted by Kelly, who was incredibly helpful in getting our entire day organized for us. She was awesome and a huge help with ironing out all the details of our big day. From the minute we got to Westbury Manor on our wedding day, we felt completely taken care of, and any ounce of wedding day jitters or stress that we had completely disappeared. Our maître d', Pam, was AWESOME and super accomodating - she was so incredibly on top of everything, and my husband was very happy that he had a full drink in his hand the entire day. :) My bridal assistant, Stephanie, was also absolutely amazing. I seriously felt like a queen that day - I didn't need to lift a finger! She was constantly attentive and whenever I turned around needing anything, she was already right behind me ready to help. She was warm, sweet and helpful and I could not have gotten through the day without her. We're still receiving endless compliments from our guests about how incredible the food was, how helpful and friendly the staff was (my Aunt is so happy one of the chefs at the cocktail hour encouraged her to taste the odd-sounding but incredibly delicious chocolate lasagna!!!) and how beautiful the Manor was. Westbury truly made our day everything we hoped it would be and more. Everything from the pre-wedding pictures all the way to the reception went off without a hitch. I would recommend this venue for any wedding! I couldn't be happier with how our day went. This place is beautiful, the staff is professional and we couldn't have asked for more.

There aren't enough stars for me to rate Westbury Manor. I don't have one negative thing to say about them. From the second we arrive after the church they were absolutely amazing! From the mini cocktail that my bridal party and I received when we arrived, to the actual cocktail hour, all the way until the time we left everything was perfection. It's been a month and people are still talking about the food/service/drinks - EVERYTHING! My husband and I fell in love with WM as soon as we walked it and we couldn't have ask for a better wedding.

From the moment I saw photos of Westbury Manor online I strongly suspected that I would have my wedding there. Once I saw it in person, this suspicion was confirmed. I absolutely love the stunning gardens and the beautiful, elegant indoor space. The manor has an intimacy that was perfect for my small wedding. You feel as if you are in someone’s home rather than at a catering hall. Our decision was confirmed, when we ate at their excellent restaurant Polo Lounge. Over the months leading up to the wedding I communicated with different banquet mangers and everyone was polite and helpful.On the day of, things could not been better. Pam was our Maitre D and Naomi was my bridal attendant. In addition to being incredibly efficient and professional, both women were lovely people. They wait on you hand and foot and do everything they can to make the day run smoothly. There were no really no hitches of any consequence. I brought many things to WM ( rose petals, personalized menus, place cards, programs etc) and everything was put in the right place. The whole event ran like clockwork thanks to the excellent staff.In addition, I vowed I would eat at my wedding and the Pam / Naomi made sure this happened! They brought a huge assortment of cocktail hour food for us to while taking pictures and directly after the ceremony. I was able to sample almost everything from the CH because of the enormous amount of food that they gave us. This meant so much to me as I love food and did not want to miss it at the wedding.Speaking of food, Westbury Manor’s did not disappoint!! I am quite picky and enjoyed almost every dish. Some items were better than others, but there was nothing that wasn’t at least good. I loved the cocktail hour food ( I had too many things to list here) I had the Sea Bass Provolone for dinner and it was delicious; very fresh and well-seasoned. According to my guests, the other best dishes were the salmon and the veal. The desserts were wonderful! We loved the heart of Sorrento ice cream dish and the chocolate fountain/ the taste Viennese. All great ! One of the best things about the day was the beautiful weather that allowed us to use the gardens for photos, our ceremony and our cocktail hour. It was absolutely magical to get married in such a gorgeous,romantic setting. The abundant flowers, fountains, bridges and shrubbery make for a very special atmosphere and a great photo backdrop.Essentially, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Westbury Manor. Westbury Manor, the location, the gardens and most of all the staff- were all amazing! We couldn't have picked a better venue to have our wedding at! We would highly reccommend this place to others tying the knot! We loved Westbury Manor- everything was perfect- from the staff, the food, location, timing of events, ceremony, reception, the cake...it was fabulous! The rapport they had between myself and my husband was very professional and they did everything to accommodate our wedding needs. It was flawless! We had a grand time!

Westbury Manor was the most ideal location my husband and I could have chosen for our wedding reception. The entire venue is gorgeous and the staff is so unbelievably nice and helpful! I had such a perfect wedding day and having my reception here made it all that much more perfect! The food and cake were delicious and cocktail hour was set up so beautifully! People keep telling me that the food was so delicious and that they had such a great time at our wedding. Everyone keeps telling me that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to, which makes me feel great and that I did my job!! The pictures that people took look absolutely gorgeous with all the flowers, water, and greenery....I can't wait to see the photographers pictures!! My bridal attendant, Tatiana and maitre d', Pam were so nice and helpful. Anytime I mentioned anything they were right there to help. My bustle kept coming loose from dancing and people stepping on my dress, but they were right there to help me each time. I had also mentioned that I wanted to put scotch tape on the heels of my shoes so they wouldn't get dirty when they sunk into the grass and they offered to do that for me as well. My florist forgot to send me a toss bouquet and my maitre d' offered to make me a toss bouquet! I was short about 15-20 people from my minimum so Westbury Manor offered my guests seconds for dinner and they also packed 10 additional meals for me to take home since I was so short on guests. I could go on and on about how great Westbury Manor is and all that they did during my reception, the point is that all the staff at Westbury Manor went beyond my expectations and I am so grateful to all of them! Thank you Westbury Manor for helping make my wedding day PERFECT!!!!!!!!

I can not say enough amazing things about Westbury Manor. Planning was easy and the day of my wedding could not have been better. They go above and beyond to take care of everything to make sure you feel like royalty on your wedding day.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Westbury Manor. Everything about the place and staff is top notch. It was the second venue I visited and as soon as I saw it, I called my husband and said “come now, this is it!” because I knew there was no other place like it. The Victorian Mansion is BEAUTIFUL and the gardens are GORGEOUS. As if that wasn’t enough, the quality of the staff’s service is beyond words. Our Banquet Manager was Lorena Burlak and she was a dream to have servicing us. She provided us with an impressive package that was well within our budget and throughout the process she was impeccable about making sure everything we wanted happened just as planned. Joel was my Maitre D’ and he was an absolute angel. Our guests can’t stop talking about how him and his staff were so accommodating in every way. To give you an example of the type of service they offer: My husband’s grandmother is disabled and could not make it up the stairs to our floor. The staff CARRIED her, placed her in a wheel chair and made sure she was comfortable throughout the entire event. Jessica was my Bridal Attendant and a true a sweetheart who really was by my side every step of the way. She was always popping up every time I needed to put down my bouquet, fix my dress, find my slippers and just about anything else I could possibly need. Joel made sure that I had all my wedding items at the end of the night and even carried it all out to our car for us. Joel and Jessica treated us and our guests like true VIP’s and we all felt special. We could not have asked for better service and attentiveness. Weddings can be really stressful and so much can go wrong if you don’t have the proper vendors and staff in your corner. We can say, without a doubt in our minds, you cannot go wrong if you choose Westbury manor for your event. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to the amazing staff at Westbury Manor!

From the day my fiance and I walked in and spoke to Mel, we were treated with utmost professionalism. Every single person we came in contact with, whether it was at the bar, reception, wait staff, coat check, were absolutely willing to make you happy. Since we had a special entrance planned, the entire staff was extremely helpful in making it amazing! From the second we stepped out of our limo to the moment we left, our bridal attendant and MC were there for anything and everything. The food was beyond everyones expections. Of course this is Westbury Manor-what else would you expect!

As a guest at my cousins wedding this past April I was absolutely floored by how gorgeous this place was. The gardens were in full bloom and we were able to go outside for cocktail hour which was AWESOME! My husband and I were so impressed that we are SERIOUSLY considerring having our Post Nuptial there! (we just did the small city hall thing) We met with a banquet manager last weekend and the amount of food that they give you is insane for a really good price and all of the staff from the waiters to the wedding I was at to the salesgirl I met with are so nice. Definitely, by far, a really perfect place!!

I could not have asked for a better venue for my reception. Every last detail - from the champagne with strawberries to the artfully carved fruit displays to the elegant linens to the astounding grounds - was exquisite and perfect. The staff was exceedingly helpful, especially my bridal attendant, who literally took care of EVERYTHING for me. The food was phenomenal, as was the atmosphere offered by the estate. Westbury Manor exceeded my expectations in every way, and I'm thankful that that's where my hubby and I decided to celebrate our special day.

I LOVE WESTBURY MANOR! They did everything to make my day go perfect and smooth! Everyone raved about the amount of food and the quality of the food! Wonderfu wonderful service!! If i had to do it all over again, WESTBURY MANOR is definitely on my list!!

Westbury Manor was awesome--food was great, people I dealt with were great and the guests said the same! I sat a group of friends next to the bar and they said they never had to get up to get drinks because the waitress was right on top of it. People loved the outdoor cocktail hour and said they felt like they were on vacation somewhere and it was absolutely gorgeous.

The Westbury Manor was excellent all around. The food, staff, grounds...everything was perfect. My event was in the smaller garden room which was the perfect size for my party of about 100. I loved that you could go outside onto the terrace and across the hall to the library where the bar was, or just into the garden area by the fountain. You weren't confined to one room..and on our beautiful day this was a great thing. The gardens are so beautiful and the peacocks added a nice exotic touch. So many guests came up to me and said how much they loved the grounds. We had our ceremony onsite as well and it was so beautiful. Very elegant! Perfect place!!

Westbury Manor was the best choice we ever made when we decided to get married here. The only thing is, everyone knows this place is great so you have to book EARLY to get great rates and times. Our wedding was on a Sunday morning on the last weekend of the month that had discounted rates..and we had to book this 15 months in advance. The service was excellent, everything was perfect and pricing can't be beat!!

We loved the Westbury Manor from the second we entered it. An old mansion that has become a gorgeous catering hall.... The service was as amazing as the food and are guests are still raving! They made our day perfect and it was definitey the best choice we made!

We had our rehearsal dinner here! It was great! I didn't plan it, my in-laws did. As the bride and groom we were very happy and our wedding party and family had only good things to say!

This venue was top notch and they thought of everything. The only thing you have to remember to do actually eat at your wedding. The night flies by so quickly and smoothly that you may forget to eat. You should request that they not remove your food from the table if you get up to dance or to talk to guests. They were a perfect ten!

Everyone is very accomodating and at your beck and call. The reception hall is beautiful and elegant.

My wedding was in the middle of the winter and it was the best time for a wedding. The decorations were beautiful, and the grounds are gorgeous. My pictures and video came out amazing with the background of a waterfall, and many other things. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is unbelievably helpful. They all made my wedding day such a wonderful and relaxing day. I had no worries with Westbury Manor at all.

EXCEPTIONAL all around. ALL of the food from the morning pastries before the ceremony to the hot and cold food at cocktail hour, and the very very tasty dinner, lavish vienesse hour, and yummy cake, All of the food was better than the best. The service was outstanding. All employees were always so eager to help and I never had to serch around for my bridal attendant or maitre'd. Westbury Manor may just be the definition of perfection.

I was married here in January and they were amazing and accommodating from start to finish. Westbury Manor was the first place we visited and we knew it was the perfect place for us. I wanted something with a "vintage" feel, and an old manor house fit the bill. The rooms were stunning. We really wanted to have our ceremony and reception in the same place and do a Saturday night wedding. They normally don't do ceremonies on-site for Saturday weddings (in case they need the room for another event), but since we were getting married in the "off-season" they were able to give us the Hill Room for our ceremony and the Garden Room for our reception. They also gave us an exceptional price for what they offered. The food they offered was delicious and served in an enormous quantity. The cocktail hour alone was worth twice what we paid for our guests. They gave us and our guests so many options. Everyone was satisfied and raved about the food and service. The bridal attendant and personal maître were real professionals. When my bustle broke they were there in a flash with a safety pin. No one even noticed it had happened! At the end of the night the majority of my guests went home at midnight (we live in Brooklyn and the guest bus left at midnight), but the entire staff encouraged those of us left to stay for the rest of the night. After all, we paid for it. So we stayed and danced until 1am and it turned out to be my favorite part of the night. They were still attentive and amazing, even when there was only a few of us left. They were wonderful from the time that we booked the wedding with them; to the free food tasting (the maître was so friendly and responsive when my husband and I came in for this. He gave us everything on the house, even the drinks), to the day after when we came to pick up the décor items I purchased. That is how I know they are so focused on service. We had had our event and they were still as nice as could be and super accommodating.

I was recently married on Friday, September 17, 2010. From the moment we stepped into Westbury Manor to view this venue for booking, we were treated with the highest level of service. Originally, we did not want to consider this venue, as my husbands brother had gotten married here two years prior and we wanted our experience to be different. Well, we were surely wrong, because we had looked at tons of venues in long island and westchester, and everything seemed to be wrong with each of them...when we stepped into westbury manor, we were treated like a king and queen. Lorena Burlak, our banquet manager, was an absolute gem to work with. Our package was all inclusive and they were willing to work with us on the price per head which was great (so many other places wouldnt even negotiate!) The entire staff at Westbury is just soooo welcoming! My matre'd was Pam and my bridal attendant was Marissa and they were both so amazing, it blew me away- anything I needed, they were both always accessible and ready to help! The first thing Marissa said to me when I stepped out of the limo was "Are you ready to be pampered?"- that set the tone for my whole evening =) My guests said that our wedding was the best they had attended all year. Westbur Manor's victorian decor already makes the venue look so regal, that with the flowers, lighting, etc, it looked like a dream wedding (but at an amazing value). My guests were also blown away at how amazing the food was- the cocktail hour was all encompassing and for dinner, we had SEVEN options for our guests to choose from (most venues have only three or four!). Westbury Manor made my wedding day the best day of my life, and I would recommend this venue to all brides!

Westbury Manor was more than accommodating. They made everything run smoothly and all of my guests were pleased with the service as well as the food during cocktail hour. Cocktail hour and Viennese hour were AMAZING. Overall, they are amazing.

We are so happy that we chose Westbury Manor for our wedding day. Everything went great! The staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious and our guest were very happy!

My wedding was last Saturday and it was the greatest day of my life! Westbury Manor was gorgeous. I originally looked at it in the Spring/Summer time and the gardens were filled with amazing flowers so I was nervous how it would look in October. It was still beautiful but definitely not as flower-filled but still gorgeous. The staff was great. Jackie was the bridal attendant and she was awesome. George was the banquet manager and he took care of everything. I had in my contract that certain beers should be at the bar and when the bartender told me he didnt' have them, George went and got them and everything was perfect. The only not-so-perfect part of my reception was the bartender. He kept disappearing and told people certain drinks didn't exist when they did. But all in all, it's a great place to get married or have any event and I highly recommend, especially because of the food. It was outstanding!!!!

Westbury Manor was amazing! The venue is breathtaking and the staff is attentive, professional and there to make your day perfect. Unfortunately, it rained so we were not able to use their beautiful gardens, however, the inside has plenty of beautiful areas that we used for our photos and to impress the guests. They attended to every one of my requests. Everyone raved how plentiful and delicious the food was. My bridal attendant was there for me every time I turned to look for anything. They really helped to make my day perfect. They provide you with a dream wedding for a reasonable price.

My husand and I had our wedding reception in Westbury Manor on 5/1/11. Westbury Manor is the best decision I've ever made. The venue is beautifully decorated. As soon as you pull up in the drive up, there are beautiful flowers all around. As if that's not enough, the garden also has 3 peacocks - which makes your wedding feel very fancy. The food is great! My guests all complimented on the food served at both the cocktail hour and the reception. The service is great. The banquet managers are always responsive when I was planning my wedding. The Matre'D was by my side all night. She even packed all my stuff for me, which made it super easy to go home when the banquet ended. I highly recommend Westbury Manor to every bride. It made my special day perfect!

This was the first and only place we went to and we booked them on the spot. They treated us like royality from the first meeting until the end of our wedding. I called numerous time with the smallest questions and they answered every one. The food and the service the night of the wedding was amazing. My guests are still talking about the amount of quality of the food. They have never been to a wedding like that before. The grounds are amazing and so is the decor,The only reason i didnt rate them 5.0 was due to a very small incident that happened after the wedding that I feel wasnt handled right. It had nothing to do with the wedding itself. My day was still more than perfect.

The first time my husband and I walked into the Westbury Manor, I knew I wanted to have my wedding reception there. The site itself is lovely. Once the building was a home, and you can see that straight away. The building is not your cookie cutter reception hall. The main ballroom looks like a ballroom of an old long island mansion and the grounds are beautiful for pictures and, weather permitting, an outside cocktail hour. The staff was very helpful and professional from the very beginning, and on the day of the wedding my husband and I were tended to as if we had paid millions. My bridal attendant made sure we were hydrated, feed and having a wonderful time. They steamed my dress for me after a long limo ride and treated my bridal party like as if they were family. My bridal attendant even helped me with my dress when I had to use the ladies room. The bridal suite was a little small, but we didn't spend much time in there anyway. Also the photography studio, upstairs, was a bit outdated, but we took our pictures in the library downstairs so that we could mingle with our guests during the cocktail hour, and outside on the grounds which were lit up. There was no request too big or too small. And the food was fantastic, not a complaint to be heard. I would recommend the Westbury Manor to anyone. If you are still not sure after this review, go to their restaurant for dinner or lunch one day, and you can sample the food and view the ballroom for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I could not have oicked a better place. I loved the gardin cocktail hour, people realy enjoyed it. The flowers and setting is wonderful for pictures. The personal assistant that came with the place was great. She made sure everything was in order at all times. She alos made sure I always had some thing to drink. IT WAS A BEAUTIFULL WEDDING, i had a better time than expected. They are also very flexible in payment plans and in times. My guest stared arriving earlier than expected and they tended to them regardless of the time. My only down side is that if there is another wedding in the gardin you do not have the peasure of roming around the whole gardin as you please. You have to wait for the other wedding to finish taking pics in order for you to take them in that spot. Otherwise though it is a great place.

Westbury Manor in Westbury Long Island made our wedding EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our wedding will be spoken about between family and friendS forever!! I did not get a chance to actually look at the garden area during our ceremony because I was too busy looking at my husband-to-be LOL, but our family and friends said it was gorgeous. Our wedding took place on 6/18/11 and it was sunny and 82 degrees (CAN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER THAN THAT!) George, the maitre'd and the bridal attendant, Jesenia, were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. Service was impeccable. The only down side I had was because our ceremony took place there, we HAD to have our reception early (start time is at 12:30pm). It would have been nice to have an evening reception. But, during the time, it doesn't even matter, we just had an absolute ball. WE GIVE WESTBURY MANOR 2 THUMBS UP!!!

I couldn't be happier with this venor. Everyone was accomodating, kind, and professional and the reception was stunning. Nearly a year and a half has passed, and people are still raving about the food, the garden, and the staff.Also--the chef actually made us a vegetarian dish using soy chicken for myself and all of the vegetarian guests. It was delicious and shows just how kind and helpful everyone at the Westbury Manor is.

What a great place to take wedding photos! The gardens were beautiful and the attendant took me to every spot I asked! However, I felt a bit rushed since we were only given a limited amount of time. Book quickly! The time slots fill up fast!

Westbury Manor was incredible, from start to finish. During the planning stages, they worked with us on food, colors and cake and at the actual wedding they executed flawlessly. They are a one stop shop, so there are very few details that are not under their control which means less room for error. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there and they did a great job of transitioning. I got so many compliments on the food from guests. There was so much of it and it really was good. Hands down, the one outstanding piece was the quality of service. Having never been to a wedding before, I wasn't sure of some of the customs, but the Maitre 'D and assistant assigned to us for the evening helped ease the concerns and were beyond attentive and caring. They made me feel like a princess!

The Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had a small intimate gathering and everyone loved the addition of the Seafood Cocktail boat. The grounds were lovely and I love all the beautiful flowers that decorated every room!

The Westbury Manor is a beautiful venue to have your wedding ceremony and/or reception. Our matradee and bridal assistant the day of the wedding were courteous, professional and most important, friendly. I had an early wedding and I intended to have my ceremony outside, unfortunately it rained the night before and early that morning. The Manor had it set up for an inside wedding, but 1/2 hour before, they asked us if we wanted it outside, we really appreciated the offer. My only complaint is that they limit the space and time you have to take pictures on the grounds due to other events taking place. It was very unfortunate for us. We couldn't take pictures outside during the entire cocktail hour. During the reception, we were relegated to an unattractive part of the grounds and we were only given about 15-20 minutes for parent portraits and bridal party pictures. Having the freedom to take as many pictures as you want anywhere on the grounds is something you won't get at the Manor, and on your wedding day, that’s a very important part.

The food was excellent and the venue was beautiful! My guests had a great time at Westbury Manor. However, the coffee was cold, items accidentally left behind in the reception room were never collected and held for me by staff, my bridal attendant was no where to be found during most of the wedding, the bridal suite was not much bigger than a walk-in closet, there was no AC, and there was quite a bit of confusion prior to the wedding ceremony.

I was so excited to have my wedding at westbury manor. Everyone was great till the day of my wedding. On the actual day, I was very disappointed with Westbury Manor. I had changed my tables and gave WM a new floor plan and place cards and they still set the place up for the old plan. Maureen was terrible to deal with and i don't even think she updated the changes after i brought them in. On the day they were also very unorganized. Some of my guests even said that when they walked in the staff didn't know who i was or which room my wedding was in. In addition, I was doing a parent blessing and needed bread and salt and they didn't have it ready until after we were announced and stood there for 5 minutes waiting for them to get their act together. The food was really good and my bridal attendant and Maitre'd were great.

Westbury was amazing I am upset that they did not serve my wedding cake to my guest I was sent home with the whole cake after I spent so much on my cake. I was given the run around on my final days they were very unorganized I had to deal with multiple banquet managers. But at the end of the day I still had an amazing wedding.
