Whik'd Hawaii

Sarah was great! I got married at the fours seasons in Kona and so I paid for Sarah's plane ticket from honolulu to Kona for my wedding. Her pricing is VERY affordable and reasonable and she did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! The airbrush makeup literally lasted all day and looked just as good when she first applied it as when I checked in to the honeymoon suite. I chose to wear my hair down and she did an amazing job with it and yet the updo that she did for my maid of honor was beautiful as well. I could not have been more happy with the way I looked, she fixed me up exactly how I wanted and had described. She also has an amazing personality and was fun to hang out with all day. So happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone getting married in Hawaii, whether you are getting married in Honoulu or not the prices to fly her to another island is not bad at all! Worth it 100%!

Sarah did my hair & makeup for my wedding as well as my Mom's hair & makeup and hair for my MOH.

She arrived on time, and completed all 3 of us on schedule. She was really cool to talk to and I found the entire morning getting ready really relaxing & fun. The makeup turned out to be stunning but still natural looking. The hairstyle was exactly what I asked for. Hair & Makeup stayed on all day as promised. If I had to do it all over again, I would book Sarah without a doubt.

Sarah was extremely easy to work with. I did a trial with her a few days prior and she was very open to anything that needed to be changed. On the day of she arrived right on schedule and I loved my hair and makeup even more than the trial. She provided me with a touch up kit for throughout the day. Her prices were comparable to other stylists. She was very personable and fun to talk to and I recommend her to any bride!

Sarah is like the protective, wise and supportive big sister you've always wanted. And on your wedding day, you want someone like her in your corner! She responded to my emails without delay, was open to suggestions and delivered on my vision with such professional ease - it was both astonishing and a relief especially since all my wedding planning was done from afar. She and Rhiannon are truly talented. They were very flexible and in tune with what all the ladies wanted - we all looked flawless. They were punctual and we were even a bit ahead of schedule! Whik'd Hawaii ranks very high in my esteem; truly a 5-star recommendation.

Sarah was fantastic to work with. She got back to me efficiently and was easy to communicate with via email. I visited her for a trial run and she did exactly what I wanted. Sarah and an assistant came to my hotel room the day of my wedding and did hair and make up for myself and my wedding party. Sarah is a fun, enthusiastic, well organized person. I would highly recommend her for a wedding or any event.

Sarah, Cheryl and Ali were very professional, very friendly and made me and my court very happy with the makeup and hairstyle that they did.

Sarah came to me on short notice and did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup. Her and another person did about 7 people in less than 4 hours, makeup and hair included for a very reasonable price. I am so happy that we went with her and I miss her since we don't live on the island anymore.

When my fiance and I got engaged, we looked at several different local options in the Los Angeles / Santa Barbara area. However, we ultimately decided on a destination wedding in Hawaii (specifically Oahu).

The hardest and most stressful part for me was finding a hair & makeup person. I was so lucky to find Sarah! Since NONE of my family and friends were able to attend for various reasons, I needed someone who was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty! Right off the bat, she was very easy to communicate with. She promptly responded to my e-mails and answered all of my questions.

The day of my wedding, she showed up to my hotel room 10 minutes which was awesome! She set up her table and equipment and talked me through some hair & makeup options. She understood what I wanted and went right to work! While she was doing my hair & makeup, we had a great conversation. She was really cool, personable and professional. It was a completely stress-free situation! In addition, she helped me get into my corset-style dress, and even took pictures of myself and my fiance as we saw each other for the first time in the lobby of the hotel.

Everything from the beginning was a breeze with Sarah, she answered the phone, gave me an excellent simple quote, i paid and from then she was waiting in the lobby at the hotel half an hour early for my trial! She's so friendly that you wont feel uncomfortable asking her anything. She turned up on the wedding day and did my makeup and 5 other ladies, we all looked stunning. I didn't have to stress about running lat, actually the men were running late and the ladies were ready thanks to Sarah. Before finding Sarah i called the other 4 most popular companies, LA Glam, Maleana, Flaunt, Makeup by Bev and I was desperate to find the right person to use....all of the above we either overpriced, wouldn't return phone calls, would take weeks to reply emails and only the first one, or some of their reviews made them seem unreliable....some of them even copy each others photos on their websites. I HAD NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH SARAH! SARAH IS AMAZING IN EVERY WAY AND I CAN'T STRESS TO ANY BRIDE WHO IS PLANNING A WEDDING ABROAD (I ORGANISED MINE FROM AUSTRALIA) THAT SARAH IS NUMBER 1...NO JOKE! Sarah was wonderful! She responded to my emails right away. She had no problem coming to our hotel at 6 in the morning. She did a great job on everyone's hair. I was a little nervous booking a hair stylist in Hawaii when I live in St. Louis but she was fantastic!

Sarah is excellent and professional. Before the wedding, Sarah was very responsive in email, and she answered all my questions in email within the same day. Trust me, I had many questions since I do not have any skill in putting up makeup or doing my hair, and Sarah answered them all. Sarah is very friendly and I feel very pleasant to sit with her for the 2 hour 's of beauty service. Sarah has excellent artistic taste. She came up with the hair style and makeup that goes well with my wedding gown very fast, and the hair style and makeup she did went very well with my wedding gown. I love all my wedding photos, all thanks to Sarah's great work and artistic taste!

Sarah was great! She made the bride feel comfortable and was able to work off of the minimal amount of information that we had. We flew into Hawaii for my friend's wedding and met Sarah the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Sarah for all of your hair and make up needs!

Sarah was amazing!! My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved our hair and makeup - they were gorgeous. I met Sarah for a trial first and she was very responsive to suggestions and refining the look so it was exactly what I wanted. She travelled to us on the day and was right on schedule. She was so professional yet fun during the whole experience. It couldn't have been more perfect. She even provided me with a touch up kit. The hairdo lasted all through the party, and the makeup was perfect as well.

Sarah was wonderful! My hair and makeup looked fantastic for my wedding. She was really nice and friendly and spent as much time as was necessary. I didn't feel rushed at all. She even went out of her way to help tighten up the lacing on the back of my dress, because it didn't feel tight enough. I loved the fact that she traveled to me and there were no hidden fees in the contract. I also really liked the fact that her travel fees were built into the price, so I didn't feel as though I was being charged additional. Excellent work and wonderful service!

Sarah, the only "Delish", is amazing. :0) I have worked with her several times for modeling shoots and She made me look amazing so there was no other option for MY wedding! Her friend Lina did an amazinh job too and I would use her again too!!

Sarah was so awesome and helpful. She was doing a friends hair and makeup for her special day and I really wanted to do something special for my friend. I called Sarah to see if by any chance she was willing to accommodation my request to set up a light fresh breakfast and champagne and OJ as my friend was getting ready. I was nervous that Sarah would decline but as soon as I explained why I was calling Sarah jumped right on board. She was more than accommodating and friendly. She truly went above and beyond to make my friend feel so special. And to her credit my friend looked gorgeous in her wedding pictures. The hair and makeup was amazing. I don't have to tell you how stressful it can be to be a bride.
But Sarah made everything so achievable, I like her "can do" attitude,
I have long straight hair, and I worried that the hair do that I have chosen won't stay in place, especially since my wedding ceremony was on the beach. She assured me that the hair do will stay until late in the evening, so it did.
As she did my make up too, I noticed that she is very light handed in applying stuff on my face. I did not feel like wearing a mask, and my make up stayed all day and all night long.
