Leung's White Crane Lion Dance
Reviews for Leung's White Crane Lion Dance

If I could give four and a half stars, I would. I hired the White Crane Lion Dancers for our wedding reception. They were easy to work with and delivered. They were prompt, had two dancers, and many percussionists. Overall, their service sailed smoothly and I have no complaints about their performance.
However, I would have liked different packages to choose from. I read a previously review, which said you could opt for a shorter performance, but I had no idea if that option still exists - I sure wasn't informed of anything other than a 20 minute performance. I thought it could have been shorter (but I've seen so many lion dance performances that perhaps I'm a little jaded). BUT - the price I paid for the 20 minutes was very affordable, so I won't dock them a star.
My husband is of Scottish decent (my parents are immigrants from Taiwan), so many of our guests had never seen a lion dance before! Leung's definitely contributed to the multi-cultural ambiance of our wedding and are wonderful professionals!

This was a real treat for a lot of our guests who'd never seen a lion dance before, or at least not so up close and personal. The performance was fantastic! Everyone really enjoyed it. Daniel was very professional, and worked with the space really well. The scroll we received at the end was beautiful :)

The performance was wonderful and all of our guests really enjoyed it, especially since we kept it a secret from most of our guests. Daniel was great to work with and was willing to work with our budget.
The dancers arrived perfectly on time and their performance started a few minutes after our ceremony ended.

Their performance was great! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the out of town guests who had never seen a lion dance performance before. The dance lasts for about 20-30 minutes and it costs $500. At the end of the performance, I did indeed receive a marriage scroll.

$400 for 2 lions + drummer for 20-30 mins. ( 4.3.06)
The guests enjoyed this very much - many thought it was the highlight of the evening. They were really surprised by the performance. The drummers were pretty loud but it was fun. My only regret is that we didn't have any hong bao to give to the lions - my mom told me later that we needed to do that. It was a little embarassing for me because we were standing up there with the lions throwing their heads around at us for several minutes and I was, like, "okay, I think I'm done now"!!! I'm really happy that we hired them. Contact with Daniel was quick and smooth although I couldn't get a hold of him right before the wedding. The performers were professional and I love our scroll! They were awesome. We had the lion dance right before dinner and it created excitement and drama for our guests. Everyone loved it. Daniel is nice to work with, although I only interacted with him once or twice he showed up, did the job, and the martial artists inside of the dragons (two in each) are SO talented. It costs $400 for everything, including the drummers. The dance lasts about 20 minutes and you get a free scroll with your name and some good luck Chinese saying. See above. Below are more pics.
