Simply amazing... the cake was beautiful and exactly what i wanted. Who Made the Cake was the one and only cake vendor i wanted.

Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake not only looked beautiful, but also tasted amazing!! The cakes were both exactly what we asked for, they were perfect! Who Made the Cake was great to work with -- we met with Nadine for the consult and they were really accommodating when we changed the design and the amount of servings!

A bit on the high end, price-wise, but ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CAKE YOU'LL EVER TASTE. Especially in the wedding cake business. Believe me, we did the tastings because we cared a lot about having the best dessert.

Horrible Horrible place! Nadine Moon, the owner, is a very rude person. She rushed us through the tasting and ended up not showing up with our wedding cake at our reception. She was a no call, no show and didn't even pick up my phone calls. After 3 days she decided to check her voicemail and give me a call back to give me a lame excuse why my cake wasn't delivered. She claimed that mapquest directed her to the wrong place! She ruined my wedding and didn't even care about the emotional distress she caused. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

Grooms cake was chocolate on chocolate and it was soooooooooo good! I was a little disappointed with my cake, it was a cinnamon and vanilla cake with butter-cream frosting.

My wedding cake tasted AWESOME, so awesome in fact that the entire thing was eaten and I still had a few guests that didn't get a slice! It was beautiful and exactly what my husband and I had envisioned. I know some people say that the bakery is sometimes slow in responding to calls, however I always got a call back within a day of leaving my message. I also found that it was easier to correspond through email.All in all- I had no complaints about Who Made The Cake and they were a very reliable vendor.

DELICIOUS!!! That is all I have to say! Nadine is an artist. All of her cakes her gorgeous...it was really hard to decide on the exact design. The cake was beautiful and so moist. The cakes here are not made and then frozen, they are made the day before and you can definitely tell by the quality of the cake. You and your guests will not be disappointed.

I have never and I repeat, never have tasted a wedding cake as good as Nadine's! My husband and I were swept away with her professioalism and talent and nonethless, the taste! Stop your search and contact Nadine today! The only downfall is that we didn't get to eat more but I will just get her to make me another cake!

Who Made the Cake saved the day!! I originally had a contract with another cake vendor who turned out to be very unprofessional and unreliable. Stressed out and worried, I made an appointment with Nadine just 3 months before our wedding hoping she still had our date available. Luckily, our date was still available and our appointment went flawlessly. She was able to design the EXACT cake of my dreams and perfectly replicate the Texas Tech double T for my groom's cake. Not only were the cakes absolutely BEAUTIFUL but they tasted AMAZING!! I can not tell you how many people asked my where they could get some of the triple chocolate cake like the groom's cake. It was truly amazing and I am so grateful to Nadine and Who Made the Cake for coming through on such short notice.

The cake tasting was enough to hook me, but Nadine truly helped me have a beautiful day. She guided me through decision making to make sure my guests didn't end up with stained teeth! No detail was overlooked; the cakes fit in with the decor perfectly and were truly delicious!

I have been doing business with Nadien at Who Made the Cake and her staff since she opened the business almost 10 years ago. I have always been overwhelmed with the creativity, attention, quality and detail she puts into every order she sends out the door. Not only her creations beautiful, but they are absolutely delicious!!! When she meets with you, she takes the time to understand your personality, taste and event to maximize the cakes impact on it. Now that I will be getting married soon, I can not wait to work with Nadine and her creative staff to design a once in a lifetime cake that will be as unique and as special as my wedding!

Nadine and her courteous, professional staff at Who Made The Cake did a SUPER job with our wedding cake. I appreciate the personalized attention I received from Nadine during the design phase, and her ability to create just what I wanted within my budget. On the day of our event, the set up was completed on time and the cake as absolutely beautiful. The flavor of the chocolate layer with a chocolate mousse filling, as well as the traditional white layers with the amaretto filling were out of this world! So many of my guests complemented us on the design and taste. I recommend all my friends go to Who Make The Cake for their special event needs and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Okay, I don't want to deter anyone from using them and I know a 3.5 is not that great. The cake tasted absolutely AMAZING!! And it looked just as good - I got so many compliments on it. The negative remarks have to do with Nadine (the owner, cake-maker, designer, etc) She is not very nice and doesn't care about her customers. She knows she is good and it shows. She hands you two huge books of pictures when you get to your appointment and as me and my mom were looking through them, she was like this "should only take a few minutes, we need to get on with the appointment." Me and my mom just kinda awkwardly laughed it off. When I also said something about her sugar flowers and how I wanted a different mix, she was like "thats not how they look in nature." It was just weird, and she is very short and closed off. But the cake turned out great, so I guess I cant complain too much. You wont regret using them, if you can get passed Nadine's attitude.

Who Made the Cake was wonderful to work with. We decided to match the wedding cake to the lace on my dress and the grooms cake was a risk board. Our cakes were gorgeous. For the grooms cake he requested that it would be a steampunk risk board. Even though they had no idea what steampunk was, they nailed it. My only problem was that we had trouble getting in touch with them to ask a few questions.

Her cakes are delicious!! Best armaretto icing I've ever tasted. Everything went so smoothly, only had to meet with her once for the tasting and that was it!

My wedding cake and groom's cake looked amazing,and was very delicious! The only thing I though could have been better is the size estimated. I ended up with a large tier uneatten as well as the top teir (for saving). There was so much cake, i think the slice per person estimate could have been a little smaller. Other than that, it was awesome!

My cake was beautiful and my Husbands cake was even better! I sent in a picture of my dress to have them make that design on the the second and fourth tier, the design was done great, however the color appeared to be yellowish in color. We talked about it being champagne in color, and yes, yellow is very near, just turned out a lot more yellow than I wanted. My cake was still beautiful though.The flavors were great and my gosh the chocolate is amazing! During our tasting, which was nice, it was very rushed. We felt as though she had many plans to meet after us so she needed to hurry along. They are also VERY expensive... That's about it though. Great cake and great flavor!

Oh my Gosh, I loved both of my cakes!!!!! I highly recommend Who Made The Cake!! About the only thing I can say negative is that they are so busy it's hard to get ahold of them at times.

I used Who Made the Cake for my wedding cake and I LOOOOOVED my cake. It tasted exactly as it did in the taste test. Moist and delicious! I loved the design and it ws exactly as I had imaginged it to be. I will say they are very hard to get a hold of on the phone when you call, but the girls always call you back within that day. Who Made the Cake is expensive and I was over budget on my cake, but I loved it the design so much and the taste that it didn't matter! I made it work! I would highly recommend who made the cake to any bride. I didn't even shop anywhere else.

Nadine was horrible. I don't even know how she is the boss. I'm sure she pays people to run her business because her and her employees do not appreciate the clients. Nadine Moon is horribly rude and completely unprofessional from the beginning. I don't even know why she goes to wedding shows when she doesn't even answer questions or make appointments. She acts as if she is above everyone. Her and her people say "we'll get your number and call you" but guess what, they never call! Surprise Surprise! She despises Hispanic people and you don't have to believe me, go to the wedding shows and see for yourself. She was rude to many Hispanic moms and daughters on the most recent bridal show at the George R. Brown. People if you want another stress for your wedding then hire Nadine and her team because I guarantee that any follow up appointments will not be granted unless you are calling 5 times a day. Don't plan on speaking to Nadine either because she is never around. There are many cake makers in Houston and if you ask me if you want a bad tasting cake then hire Nadine and her people because your cake will be put on the back burner since you are wasting her time and money if your not buying a million dollar cake. Hire her at your own risk!!!

the most beautiful cake i have ever seen! It was so elegant and divine to see and wonderful to eat!!!

Pros: 1) the cake flavors are pretty good, I did the raspberry and cinn hazelnut for my wedding cake.2) ordering was very organized and the tastings were fun.Cons: 1) Nadine is really very busy and does not have time for you, rushes you when you sit down to talk to her, very impersonal.2) Icing color was supposed to be maroon, came out looking brown even with a color fabric sample provided, I also thought the cake did not look proportional for three tiers.

My cake was amazing! I wanted several flavors, since I think a lot of wedding cakes can be super boring. We did each tier a combination of white with spice cake and white with italian creme cake so that each piece allowed the guests to have 2 different kinds of cake. Definitely the way to go. It was so delicious and we received so many compliments. Some of the best cake I've had.

The owner who did our order was extremely rude and self absorbed. We felt horrible when we walked out. The only reason we used them was because the cake was so good.the cake was beautiful and tasted great, however the cost are extreme

Gorgeous cakes! However the responsiveness was kinda poor. It seems like I was CONSTANTLY following up with them trying to get a call back regarding questions that I had. During the initial visit things were great but after that..they can kinda give you the brush off if you don't stay on their butts about your cakes..lol :)I mostly worked with Ashley, because it seems like Nadine (owner) is never there, and it's like pulling teeth trying to get a follow-up appointment with her...and sometimes even getting her to call you back! lol.. I'm very persistent though..so I definitely got my follow-up appointment :)) Over all I was definitely pleased with the quality and overall look :)

Our cakes were amazing! The quality, the design and especially the flavor. We had three cakes total over a two day period. I had Nadine design a cake around my unique cake topper and it was beautiful. Now they are busy and in high demand so plan EARLY and stick with your plan. We cannot wait until year one when we get to eat them again :-)

We had "Who Made The Cake" make both the wedding cake and grooms cake. They did an amazing job!! We had gone to 2 other places and when my now husband told them his idea for the grooms cake they looked at him like he was crazy and basically said they would "try" to do it. Nadine heard the idea and loved it. Stephen wanted a cake shaped like a grilled tbone steak with a bake potato with butter on it. Nadine pulled it off with no problem. The cake looked amazing and it was all everyone talked about. The wedding cake itself was beautiful and she did the bead work designs that were on my Thai wedding dress on the cake perfect. They are a little pricey but I believe worth every penny. We got what we wanted and they tasted wonderful!! We even took pieces of cake with us on the plane 2 days after the wedding and they still tasted fresh. Everyone seated around us kept asking about them.

Who Made the Cake is suppposedly the best cake vendor for weddings in the Houston area. Their ads are in every magazine around. Honestly, wouldn't recommend them. I had a wedding cake for 100 people and a groom's cake for 50. I'm assuming that is the reason Who Made the Cake wasn't as accomodating. Maybe they are used to bigger clients? And the small weddings get the back burner? My wedding cake was beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it didn't exactly look like the pictures. My groom's cake was a sheet cake that could have looked alot better. Tasted great, but it looked very unprofessional.

They did an amazing job on the main cake and the groom's cake. My husband sent pictures of his car for his cake. The cake was perfect! We couldn't ask for anything more. The cake was delicious. It was so moist it just melted in your mouth. I am definitely using them again for any other cakes I need.

Nadine does excellent work! We LOVED both of our cakes! The bride's cake was absolutely breath-taking, and the groom's cake was so much fun!! And they both tasted great!! I would definitely recommend Who Made The Cake to anyone!

I just spoke to the folks at Who Made the Cake in Houston for my father's 65th birthday. To their credit, I called them on a days notice asked for something out of the scope they could provide, however they were rude and unwilling to hold even a 3 minute conversation with me to help me out. They were booked so I asked if they could direct me elsewhere. Most companies I know that are truly confident in their expertise and their product will direct you to a competing vendor if they cannot take care of your needs in your time window. Ridiculous and rude was my takeaway.

Barbara and Who Made the Cake was included within our package with our Venue, The Plaza Downtown. I was very excited because I had seen the work that Barbara and her team do on their website so I was sure the cake would be beautiful. We set up a tasting and decided on 2 great flavors for our cake. It was delicious! My one concern is this, we wanted white and pink orchids (sugar flowers) scattered on our cake and even paid extra for them and I provided a pictures to illustrate how the colors would be laid out. I didn't get to see the cake until we were going to cut it, and although it was a square stacked tier cake with teal ribbon along the bottom like we wanted the orchids looked terrible, the flowers looked like a child had painted them, far from what I expected for work of this company's caliber. From the looks of them, the work was either rushed or just plain lazy. But what could we do at that point?? We cut the cake and enjoyed our first bites as man and wife and we've saved our top tier for our 1st anniversary, without the orchids, thankfully.

Who Made the Cake? is absolutely fabulous!Everyone said the cake was just wonderful, and many were shocked because wedding cake is usually not that good. We choose there white traditional for the wedding cake, the chocolate for the grooms cake. and we even had an extra sheet cake made in the spice cake. All of the we beyond good. I cant wait to eat the extra for our first anniversary!

Our cake looked fabulous and tasted soooo good. This is the place for good-tasting cakes, that's for sure. That said, though, bring your patience. Getting a live person on the phone won't happen. You have to leave a message and you'll get a call back. Once you get a call back, the person on the phone is very nice -- but the call back may come at a time when you're not home. Tag, you're it, the ball's in your court. I was disappointed that we couldn't choose the cake flavors/types for our tasting and agree that Nadine seemed indifferent during the tasting (she probably had cakes to make!!) If WMTC had not been a preferred vendor of our venue, I would have been more worried about the lack of communication. But, I figured there was a reason it was a preferred vendor -- and trusting the venue worked out in the end: Our cake was beautiful and tasted even better.

Nadine and her husband are so nice and so easy to work with. My husband and I brought pictures of what we wanted and she designed it to fit our style. The color was perfectly matched to our colors because we took in a piece of ribbon. When I saw my wedding cake I had tears of HAPPINESS! It was absolutely perfect! I am still receiving compliments and people always ask, �Who made YOUR WEDDING cake?� I will use Who Made the Cake again and again! Thanks Nadine and your staff!

I just want give a big thanks to Nadine and her staff for making our dream cake. We designed it ourselves and it came out even better than we imagined! Not only was it gorgeous but it tasted wonderfully as well. People talk about our cake as soon as our wedding comes up in conversation. Thank you again. We loved it!

Nadine is so good at what she does, very creative and professional! She is able to make recommendations and suggestions with out making your cake her cake. We were so pleased with not only the appearance of our bridal and groom's cakes, but the taste was outstanding! We are so happy we selected Who Made the Cake and would recommend them to anyone! As other reviewers have mentioned, our initial consultation with Nadine was pretty good, but her full attention was not with us, which was disappointing. We liked her designs and she worked with us on our ideas, but follow-up with this company was a nightmare. When we tried to call and talk to Nadine to make changes to our contract a few days before the final date to do so, she was out of town two weeks before our wedding (which is fine and understandable), but apparently she was not checking on her business while she was out, because we didn't receive a call back from her until literally the week of the wedding. This call was not in response to our attempts to contact them, but to tell us that the brown cupcake holders that we had decide on were not available. They actually refused to do the legwork to find them after twice asking them to do so (and claimed that they did not exist in Houston), so we went on our own time and found exactly what we needed at a shop literally around the corner form their office. They then refused to reimburse us for the cost of the holders.It is unbelievable that they called us four days before the wedding to bother us with this type of detail and to then refuse to offer any kind of solution or assistance. It was incredibly unprofessional. For a place that is supposed to be one of the premier shops of their type in Houston, we were less than impressed.As mentioned above, getting in touch with an actual human was much more difficult than it should have been. When trying to make our final payment, each time we would call, we were never able to speak to anyone. No only would they not answer the phone during normal business hours (on days they are open), we couldn�t even leave a message on the voice mail because it was full! This happened a few times and is simply an unacceptable way to run a business.Finally, for the price, what you get is a good value. Our cake and cupcakes were delicious, though the design was not exactly correct (cake was not painted � an extra for which we paid).

I definitely had to go back and forth on the design because I felt that my original design wasn't great, but Nadine and her staff worked well with me to get it changed in just enough time before the final design was due.The final product was fabulous. The cake was very elegant and simple but delicious. My husband's cake was the real winner. The detail on his cake was amazing. Some people even doubted it was a cake until they came close.Overall, very happy with the services provided.

This is a garbage company with garbage customer service - Barbara has a stick up her ass and does not know how to communicate with customers - oh and she's a liar! I had asked for an amarreto cake with raspberry filling - instead I got a plain vainilla cake with cream filling - thanks for ruining our wedding cake Barbara - DO NOT use her!

Nadine Moon, owner of Who Made the Cake!, designed & made our oldest daughter's bridal & groom's cakes. They were amazing (both in design & taste) and all of the guests were asking "WHO made the cake?!". Our experience with Who Made the Cake! was so good, when our youngest daughter announced her engagement, there was never a question about who we would use for her cakes. Once again, Who Made the Cake! did not disappoint us. The cakes were original, beautiful, and delicious. We used Who Made the Cake to create the cakes for both of our daughters' most special days, and we have also used them for other "special occasion" cakes which have been the talk of the town as well.If you are looking for an original design that includes incredible taste, I highly recommend Who Made the Cake!. You will not be disappointed.

Not flexible with the tasting scheduleing at all, not good cake quality for the price, had to go back and forth with them over the cake design and didn't like what I got as my wedding cake at the end...

We got our wedding cake from "Who made the cake?" and we were very happy with it! It looked absolutely beautiful and everyone loved it!! It also tasted wonderful and wasn't horrible like some people's wedding cakes!! They were able to match our wedding colors as well as make the monogram on the cake match the one that I created for our invitations! :) What great detail!! The cake looked perfect!! We also had heavy and very breakable wedding cake toppers that were personalized and we were able to let them hold on to it for a few days and put it on the cake and get it to the venue all nice and safe! The cake was great! It tasted wonderful. The appointment was terrible. Nadine acted like she had other things that needed to be done and did not pay much attention to what we were asking and talking about. The colors I wanted on the cake were a little off (i gave her fabric samples). I liked that they didn't freeze the cakes and made them two-three nights before. I wish she had taken more time to talk to us and get a feel for what we wanted. I doubt she would even know who I was if I passed her on the street.

We got our wedding cake from Who Made the Cake and it was awesome. We were invited to come in and taste the different flavors of cake with Nadine and pick a style. Because the cake was tasty and the price was right, I booked immediately and didn't have to pay for the cake stand. Because I booked my cake 7 months in advance, I decided to make some changes. The process was very easy and the cake looked amazing on our wedding day. They also called me to confirm everything the day before (which was great - my venue gave them the wrong time) and everything was done perfectly. Many of our guests said that our wedding was one of the few times they actually liked the cake. It was so moist and the buttercream was just sweet enough.We cannot wait to try it on our 1st anniversary!!!

I didn't personally use “Who made the cake” for my wedding cake vendor. My husband and I did go to a tasting with them and decided on another vendor for a couple of reasons. One, I didn't like the "name dropping" they did when we walked in the door. Every other sentence was well we did a cake for ______. And Duff (Ace of Cakes television show) asked us to do a cake for ______. We are not into that kind of personal promotion let the cakes speak for themselves. Two, when we had our cake tasting they gave us cake straight out of the refrigerator and it had sat in there for almost a week! We didn't get to choose what kind of cake or frosting we wanted to sample. We were given a plate with four readymade cake pieces. The cake was honestly dry and tasted like most wedding cakes. Three, we didn't like the idea of our cake being made with up to 8 other wedding cakes in a single week. Four, they don't have a list of cake and frosting flavors to review. Five, they don't tell you the time of day your cake will arrive at the venue. This scared me since on your wedding day you want everything to go smooth and having the added stress of wondering about the cake is not a good idea. We decided on a smaller cake company that only makes one wedding cake a week and they made it the day before the wedding. If you have the same reservations as we did research smaller companies in your city. We ended up having the best wedding cake and saved money. Good Luck!

The only negative thing I can say is that it would sometimes take a while to get a response from them. In the end, my cake was flawless. My husband's cake was amazing! The best part about it was that they both tasted really good. I find wedding cake to be dry and kind of bland. BOTH cakes were incredibly moist and had wonderful flavor. If you want cakes that look good and taste even better, go with them. Their prices are also really, really good.

I loved, loved, loved my wedding cake done by "Who Made the Cake?" I had a picture of the cake I wanted and the end result of my cake was beyond my imagination!!! I loved it and highly recommend getting your wedding cake and any other occasion cake made here!

We absolutely loved our cakes. One of my friends used Nadine for her cake, recommended her highly, and I went to Nadine because I knew her cakes were absolutely gorgeous as well as delicious. This lady makes fantastic cakes but her company deals with a high volume of customers. My friend warned me in advance to expect professionalism and River Oaks-quality cakes, but not charm, and I'd say that was a very fair expectation. Don't go in expecting to have your hand held. I knew what I wanted, she drew up the designs on the spot and that was exactly what our cakes looked like on our wedding day, down to the fine details. My very sweet mother-in-law came with me to the tasting, I must say that Nadine was very patient with her and I really appreciated that. We used cake charms and decorative accessories that I'd bought elsewhere, Nadine approved the quality first but then was happy to accommodate us. We chose my husband's groom's cake in the old tradition that it would be a surprise *for* him and he was absolutely blown away. The cakes were perfection.

Our wedding cake and groom's cake were not only the BEST looking but the BEST tasting cakes my husband and I have ever had! It was my husband's favorite part of the entire wedding actually!! Who Made the Cake is a family business and Nadine & her husband greeted my family with such warmth! Even though Nadine has celebrity clients, you would never know that because she is so extremely down-to-earth. Nadine is such an visionary artist...she listened to every single thing we wanted and came up w/ drafts to make sure we approved. I couldn't believe how well the execution was dow to the very last detail! The groom's cake looked EXACTLY like my husband's car and she surprised us by putting with a few personal touches that I will never forget!!!!!

The cake was the best. We had tried many different vendors and her cake was very moist and the icing was not too sweet. All of my guests really enjoyed the cake and some even had seconds! I am looking forward to my one year anniversary and enjoying the cake! It was just difficult to get in contact with her. When I tried to make my final payment I was unable to get through to the office- the phone just kept ringing and if you tried to leave a message, the mailbox was full. She is a very popular cake vendor since her cake is so good, but the service could be a little better. Also, the cake was very affordable.

Sarah made exactly what we wanted. The cake tasted wonderful, wish i could have eaten more at the reception. There were not many options in her portfolio that were not cheesy grooms cakes. The one we got was amazing but I feel a little overpriced. However, the deal we got on the bridal countered the groom cake price. Her work is great and a fairly competitive pricing compared to other bakers I looked into.

Nadine and her staff at Who Made the Cake did an amazing job. We had a very small wedding and ordered the smallest cake she makes, but I still felt like my cake was just as important to them as every other cake order they had. The cake was far more beautiful than I had imagined, and it tasted even better than it looked. Several of my guests said it was the most beautiful cake they'd ever seen. I even had some difficulty convincing them that the flowers on the cake were not real, and were in fact hand made by Who Made the Cake. This was the one item we splurged on for our wedding, and I am so glad we did. It was worth every penny and more.

I absolutely loved my cake. It is sometimes difficult to get an appointment, but the results are well worth it. When we met, I gave Nadine a picture of my gown, and she recreated the beading on the dress on the cake. Not only did the cake look like a work of art, but it tasted amazing - several guests have raved to me about it.

Now let me tell you we got the perfect wedding cake at Who Made The Cake. The wonderful flavors on different layers made the cake totally different from other cakes. The different frostings really made the cake stick out even more. What more the consultation we got from them was simple and effective we told them some ideas and they told us some ideas. Then they gave us a price quote and then we made the agreement on having them make our wedding cake. I cannot say enough on how well my wedding cake was and it was all due to the hard working individuals at Who Made The Cake. All of our wedding guests enjoyed the cake and all that detail they put into the cake was really special.

The owner, Nadine Moon, was not only our cake consultant, but the owner of the establishment. She was friendly, creative, talented, and affordably priced her cakes. When we discovered that we had enough money left over after ordering the bridal cake, we decided on a groom's cake to compliment our reception. The bridal cake had the most delicious flavoring (antique white cake, raspberry puree filling (which you could tell was created from fresh raspberries)) with ivory buttercream. The groom's cake was milk chocolate with caramel filling, and we added 12 chocolate covered strawberries as a bonus. For about 85 guests the average cost per slice was $2.75, which we found to be reasonable. When it came to our actual reception, we also found out that she was friends with the venue's manager, and very prompt with our cakes. The added bonus of the whole thing was that she matched the icing to our invitation color, just by providing a sample ribbon from the invites. :) I would recommend her in a heartbeat to any girl and guy who want a budget-friendly and very, very tasty wedding cake.

Who Made The Cake was awesome. I knew I just had to book them when I had some of their cake at a friends wedding a couple of years back. Their cake is delicious in every type of cake and every type of icing. Their fondant was the best. You WON'T be disappointed.

absolutely fantastic cake. everyone wanted more and totally ate it all up. They do their buttercream so smooth it looks like fondant...but probaly more affordable.

She really has a vision there with all your suggestions, and it was definitely one of the best cakes I've ever tasted.

Our cakes not only looked fantastic but they tasted great. Everyone gobbled it up and was complaining there wasn't more. They make a buttercream icing look just like fondant...I highly recommend the white buttercream...and the grooms cake was excellent too. Truly one of the best wedding cakes Ive had.

Nadine Moon did an absolutly fabulous job on both out wedding cake and grooms cake. Both cakes were on time and looked just as I had asked and they both tasted wonderfully. We had LOT'S of Raves on how great they looked and tasted. I would recommend her to anyone in the Houston Area to make an appointment and order from Who Made That Cake!

The long and short of it...the cake is delicious and GORGEOUS. If that's what you care about, then go with this vendor. If you're looking for a vendor that makes the tasting process fun and spends a lot of time with you and talking to you about ideas, then this is not your place. The first (and only) meeting/tasting was under 30 minutes and incredibly stressful. It was definitely a "move 'em in and out" mentality as I guess she doesn't really make any money by spending more time with you. I was hurried through the process of selecting a design and cost options, etc. and the tasting was just as fast and felt like a whirlwind when I walked out. It was NOT a fun experience at all (which I thought it would be!) All of that being said, the cake arrived on time, looked exactly as I'd ordered it and was beautiful (receiving lots of compliments!) and tasted AMAZING. So, if you can take the lack of posh service, you'll end up with a great cake.

Who Made The Cake was absolutely phenomenal! Nadine (owner) worked with me on every single detail I desired. Tasting was fabulous and their job on my dream cake was absolutely breath-taking! Magnificent place! I would recommend it to anyone...

Nadine from Who Made the Cake designed the most incredible wedding cake and groom's cakes for our wedding. Not only were they beautiful, they were soooo delicious! We wanted something elegant and she exceeded our expectations. To this day, my husband says that was the best cake he's ever had. Gracias Nadine!!

The cakes were good!

Nadine was a pleasure to work with and both our wedding cake and groom's cake turned out absolutely stunning. The bride's cake was made from fondant and looked like a work of art; Both cakes were complimented highly for their taste by wedding guests. The cakes can range in price depending on what you want- I'd say it's a bit on the pricy side, but definitely worth it if you want a beautiful and tasty cake.

delicious cake - beautiful look - i had asked for no piping at all and we got some piping but i'm guessing it smoothed the three tiers together better aesthetically. they are not fantastic on the phone and aren't the most accomodating, but the cake was beautiful and the best wedding cake we've had thus far so that doesn't really matter so much. or at least it didn't to us.

I went in to my appointment at Who Made the Cake without a clue of what I wanted and not really knowing if I cared that much what it looked like. I left knowing exactly what I wanted and really excited about it! They were really very good about working with a customer (who's never had to order a wedding cake before) and helping them come up with something unique and personal. And of course, when I did finally see the cake it was gorgeous- past my expectations!And let me tell you, I have never had a wedding cake that tasted so good before! People were going back for seconds, and it still tasted good thawed a year later!

The cake was awesome. I went in with a picture and they were able to do it without any questions. The delivered the cake on time and it was perfect and delicious.
