Whole Foods, Colfax
The cake was beautiful and delicious!!!
My husband and I got married last Labor Day weekend and decided to have a local florist in the mountains arrange our bouquet and boutonnière. I was shopping at Whole Foods one morning and noticed how beautiful the bouquets were in the flower section. There were vases arranged that were stunning! As a bride, it made me we wonder if this Whole Foods did special events. I met with Linda and was thrilled to learn that she was the artist behind the great designs and she did in fact do events!
I also was so excited to learn that Whole Foods gets an excellent price on flowers due to their partnerships with local vendors! I sat down with Linda to discuss a small wedding flower budget for our BBQ rehearsal dinner and reception!
Linda was fantastic and was hired the moment she made me feel like she wanted to work with me on my special weekend! We discussed vases, flowers, and different ideas! I had a decent idea of what I was looking for and Linda had great ideas to develop a gorgeous vision. We wanted to stay with our sustainable theme and Linda found us recycled glass vases and we used our own vintage mason jars! Linda even took our invitation and recreated our monogram to include on our mason jars as a personal touch!
Linda was fantastic to work with and would get back to me regarding pricing and availability in a timely fashion. We met twice before we picked the flowers up before the wedding. My husband and I went to the store and saw these stunning flowers by the door. I walked past them thinking that there was no way the arrangements could be the flowers we ordered. I actually told my husband they were gorgeous flowers for someone with a bigger budget. Well, they were ours and we were ecstatic with how they turned out! Linda captured what we were looking for in every way!
The only complaint we have is that we didn’t have Linda do all of our wedding flowers – she is wonderful and so are her designs!
