Wiens Family Cellars

We love this venue and everyone was very nice and attentive to us. The only compliant we have is that some of our guest did not get served there dinner plates and the steaks were overdone and cold. I know a server come up to us at one point and asked if we wanted the dinners to be brought out because not everyone was sitting down. If this was the reason for a big gap in between the salad and the main course.... It was nice of them to be considerate of people not being in their sets but I feel like they should have just served the food right away. Also, we had guest tell us they were one and a half tables that did not get cake, we had cake left over so I don't know how this happened as well. All in all we loved the facility and the winery staff is very friendly.

Our Wedding was the most enjoyable experience for our guest and us as well! The staff made all of the planning easy. They were all very considerate and patient. Our requests were important to them and they absolutely wanted our wedding to be what we hoped for. The staff was always available and did everything they could to accomidate our needs and wants. The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Dinner in the Barrel Room were all taken care of just the way we requested from start to finish. The serving staff were very pleasant and professional as well. Our Coordinators, Jamie and Sara were absolutely fantastic. Choosing Wiens was the best decision we made for our Wedding. We never regreted it and will always be very grateful to them for making our day perfect We do recommend them to anyone who is considering them. There were a lot of choices available. We made the right choice for us with Wiens Family Cellers.

Christine Pierce was our coordinator and we fell in love with her from the moment we met her. Every meeting we had with her was professional and organized. She was always easy to reach and answered any/all questions we had. She was diligent in getting our needs met. She communicated with the caterer and even answered the silliest questions.
From the moment we walked on the property, we fell in LOVE!!!
The day of our wedding was magical and beautiful.
Everything down to every last detail of our day was perfect!
The florist did an amazing job with the burlap bow on the arbor and the wine ceremony was a unique feature to our ceremony.
Walking into the barrel room for our reception brought tears to our eyes! It was amazing. The candles on the bottom two rows of the barrels made the whole room sparkle with romance!
The table was set even more beautifully than we could have imagined! Christine and her magically elves made the place glow with the rustic romance we were looking for. We were more than impressed.
The service and the food was amazing. Our guests kept commenting on how excellent we were all treated and how good the service was. Sabrina, our server, was so wonderful, she made sure our drinks were always full! Volker sister was also a delight. She brought he kids food out at the perfect time.
Everyone on property that day was amazing and made us felt like royalty. Our wedding was for 20 people and nobody ever made us feel that way. We were treated as if we had hundreds.

We couldn't be happier with the service provided by Wiens. Our coordinator was very helpful with the planning process and was quick to respond back to any of my e-mails. We received many compliments from our guests with how good the food was and how accommodating the staff is. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Wiens Family Cellars was the most beautiful venue to have a wedding at! They are such a tight-knit group and they really want you to have a beautiful wedding. They helped me so much for the day-of, they were willing to work with us for anything we needed or wanted and really wanted us to enjoy the experience--our wedding coordinator was Sarah and she was great! All of our guests commented on the warm, fun and friendly ambiance! We even became members so we could always enjoy their great red wines and venue.

We had the most perfect day at Wiens Family Cellars. Everyone was so amazing to work with, our coordinator Sarah, was on top of everything and made sure we enjoyed ourselves and were relaxed. The ceremony and reception (we were in the Event Pavillion) looked so beautiful. We really couldn't have asked for anything.

I am so glad that I found Wiens to be my wedding venue. I visited almost all of the wineries in Temecula and as soon as I walked into Wiens and saw the simple and intimate setting of the courtyard, I fell in love with it. Jaime & team also had a lot of experiences with weddings, which was crucial in keeping me sane throughout the wedding planning process. I knew I could always count on Sarah, my coordinator there, to take care of everything and do a good job. She was practically THE wedding coordinator, overseeing all logistics and ensuring vendors show up and things run smoothly. I could not have done it without her! She did a great job! Since I was always traveling between the coasts, I had many odd-ball requests like private tastings, last-minute meetings, and linen/flower trials, and she accommodated them all! The team was also very responsive, I was able to reach at least one of them to get my questions answered. We loved our wedding and we could not imagine holding it anywhere else but Wiens! It was beautiful and the guests enjoyed it immensely as well. We owe a big THANK YOU to all of the staff at Wiens for making it such a memorable event!

Wiens Family Cellars was the perfect place to have our wedding. Our guests still won't stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was, how delicious the wine & food tasted, and how much fun they had. Our coordinator Christine was always so professional and accommodating, even as we planned our wedding from out of state. The day went more perfectly than I could have imagined, and I owe that all to the staff at this incredible venue. The air conditioner in the grooms suit was not working and it was 100 degree heat. Also there were some mix ups with the case of wine we purchased it was not supposedto be given to all guests only a select few wich was prediscussed with our cordinator. But the issue was resolved after the fact and in the end we were satisfied!

We are SO happy we chose to be married at Wiens! That place is the complete package: Aesthetically beautiful inside and out,a wonderful and personable staff and awesome food and wines. It's been almost a month and our guests are still raving about how wonderful and beautiful our venue was, how delicious the food and wines were and how well organized everything was. That place is amazing! Our Wiens coordinator, Brittany, was the BEST! Anything we needed or any special request we had, she and the rest of their staff made it happen. Wiens helped make our entire wedding process a wonderful and pleasant experience. I felt sad after our day, knowing that we weren't required to go back there for meetings anymore - they really make you feel welcome to where you kind of get emotionally attached to the place. We definitely recommend Wiens to anyone searching for a wedding venue - We LOVE it there!!

If I had it to do all over again, I would not change a thing! Our wedding was perfect!

Having our wedding at Wien's was awesome! Great location, beautiful grounds and the girls were quite helpful! The food was excellent as well! We are so glad we shared our special day there.....and if we had it to do all over again....we wouldn't change a thing!

They were eager to meet all of our requests and honored our opinions and when we didn't have one, provided options. Planners were very responsive and provided cell phone numbers for the last minute panicky bride as well. On our wedding day, the entire staff was present but not a part of all of the activities. I took great comfort in knowing if I would have needed anything, they were seconds away. Their support was invaluable and the day went off perfectly!

Overall, I would Wiens is a spectacularly beautiful venue, and I had the most amazing wedding there.

Pros:
- The wedding coordinator we worked with, Sarah, was amazing! She was super helpful throughout the entire planning process.
- There are two suites for getting ready with ample room. I got ready with 4 bridesmaids and we had plenty of space to do our hair and makeup.
- The winery closes before the wedding, so we didn't have any other people at the venue during the ceremony or reception.
- The food is AMAZING! They also host a tasting dinner which allows you to try the food prior to selecting the food for your wedding.

Cons:
- The schedule is rather compressed. You will most likely end up missing cocktail hour to try and get family pictures done. We had to be out of there by 10 PM, which is pretty early. You can't do anything to extend the time.
- It is rather expensive, although it is very reasonable when you compare the prices there (as well as the services provided) with the other venues in Temecula Valley.
- When I came for my original meeting with my fiance and parents, they didn't have on the books that I was coming and the person that ended up showing us around didn't have any of the information I had given them over the phone.

Overall, this place is AMAZING and I would...

Wiens was extremely professional and their wedding coordinator was accommodating and responsive. The venue is gorgeous and they are so flexible with any arrangements / needs you might have. The price for what we received was a tremendous value. I had a perfect evening and thank Wiens for helping making our day so special.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding and it was all because of Wiens. The service that they provided was outstanding. From the begining of the planning process all the way through the wedding day, they took great care of us. I can't say enough great things about Wiens Family Cellars, the whole experience was awesome!!

Wiens and their entire staff are the best! From the minute we arrive I knew this was the place, then I met with Brittany and she took my concerns away. The food was fantastic, the drink was great, and the location was beautiful! The entire staff took such great care of us. They all made the day perfect, Brittany is one of the best coordinators! Brittany was responsive, quick to help, make changes (and there were a lot of last minute changes on my end), and she on top of everything, not only before but even after the wedding. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. Wiens will not disappoint!! I can't say enough good things about Wiens and Brittany!!

My husband and I just had our wedding at Wiens on 4/14/12 and it was amazing. We are very familiar with Wiens, since we have been Wine Club members there for about two years. Our coordinator was Brittany Wong, and everything was how I pictured it. The overall price was very decent, compared to other wineries in the area, and included alot. The ceremony was outside in the main arbor, and since the weather was chilly, we quickly decided to change the cocktail hour to inside the barrel room (instead of the outside bar).
They have alot of decoration that you can utilize - all for free. Each table gets a bottle of red, and a bottle of white. They have several different centerpieces that you can use, and they have alot of different options and colors for table linens. Everyone was very impressed with the location and absolutely loved the wine.
We love Wiens and will continue to be Wine Club members and visit Temecula often.

I live in Palm Springs, so choosing a venue outside of Palm Springs was risky, when i first walked into Wien, i knew that is where i wanted to get married, Using the vendor list Wien provided was so very helpful, was able to schedule the cake tasting and meeting the DJ all in one day, saving me trips back and forth from Palm Springs to Temecula.

We loved our wedding at Wiens Family Cellars! My husband and I visited several locations in our serach for a wedding venue, but after meeting with Kenna and the rest of the staff at Wiens, we knew this was the place for us. My normally reserved husband actually said, "It's like this pllace was made for us!" The winery grounds are gorgeous with two different wedding sites to choose from Our ceremony site was the new vineyard garden. This location gives you a feeling of being married amongst the vines, and is also a very private setting, which is hard to find in this area.

They have excellent service that went above and beyond our expectations. Throughout our year long engagement, any issues or concerns we had were met with a "no problem, we'll take care of it" attitude. On the day of our wedding Kenna and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure us both that we were their first and only priority, and that our only job was to relax and enjoy the day. They have a bride and groom's suite, which was available for use the whole day. They provided snacks, champange, and other beverages for our wedding party, as well.

The wedding day was coordinated excellently by Kenna and the rest of the team at Wiens. At other locations having an on site coordinator provided wouldn't mean much, but at Wiens, it truly alleviated the need for the additional expense of an outside wedding planner.

At our reception the food was excellent, as well as the wine, and the serving staff made all of our guest feel welcomed and relaxed.

At the conclusion of our wedding the staff helped my family pack up all of our belongings, and even assited with loading items into cars for transport. There was a lovely gift basked given to my husband and I, filled with champange, chocolates, wine glasses, a sweet note from Kenna, and other cute newlywed items.

We absolutely loved our whole wedding experience from start to finish at Wiens Family Cellars. Our family and guests our still raving about our wedding, and have all said that it was the best wedding they had ever been too.

I don't have a bad thing to say about Wiens. We booked this location a year and a half out (even though that long of a wait wasn't necessary). They are the most amazing venue! They provide both dressing rooms for the bride and the groom, with snacks and champagne. They have an on site coordinator, ours was Carrie, to help you along every step of they way. They're very willing to work with you and make your special day amazing. We're becoming wine club members and look forward to coming back often!

As the groom, I just wanted everything taken care of so we wouldn't have to be running things on our wedding day, and Wien's did a great job of that. We hired a second coordinator, and between her and the Wiens people everything just got done, it was wonderful.

The Wiens people were very helpful and friendly, and were genuinely interested in helping us have a nice wedding and save some money - it wasn't cheap to get started, but they didn't nickel and dime us after that, which was great.

My only small issues with them is that their email response time was a little slow, but it wasn't that bad; and that weddings in California are just too expensive! Overall highly recommended, they make great wine and we had an awesome wedding!

Weins Family Cellars is the best place to have your wedding, we were so happy not only with the venue and the scenery, but the staff was amazing. You personal wedding coordinator that they assign you is amazing and so helpful! The food is great, everyone was satisfied and happy. The price was amazing for venue, and all of the options that you have for all of the items that they include in the price, from tabel linens, chargers to dress up your plates, centerpieces...and all for free! It saved us a lot of money, and everyone is so helpful! We LOVE Weins! We joined the wine club and are there every month for the wine club party now! Highly recommed using Weins family cellars for your wedding, or parties!

We got married in April at Wiens and had such a positive experience! Our wedding was unforgettable. This venue and team are the best! Their family owned / operated business and values were so refreshing. We really felt a part of their family! My husband and I have now joined their wine club and go back often for tastings and picnics on the patio. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

We love Wiens they were so great to work with. The wedding turned out to be everything we wanted and more. The planners did an amazing job and we feel so fortunate to have worked with them. Pros:
-The staff is very nice, friendly and accommadating. Jaime, Rhianna and Lilia are very nice and easy to work with.

-The vendor they have for food, the Forge, has great tasting food, recieved many comments that the food was delicious

-One of the male bartenders was very nice, called me by name and ask to help even though never met me before.
-Allowed flexibility with decorations.
-The grounds are pretty and very well maintained.
-Have a bridal and grooms suite to get dressed in onsite and they give you wine and snacks while you dress.

Cons:
They caused a bit of embarrassement to me and my husband with their caterer's service. I attribute it to inexperience in throwing more upscale events because I don't think they would do these things purposefully.
-The caterer was chinzy and don't know how to set a proper/standard table. Did not use bread or butter plates so my guests had to put their buttered bread on the tablecloth and salads were served on butter plates. Not a single person I know has ever been served their salad on a butter sized dish before and people commented on how it was so weird. They didn't tell us the salads would be so tiny even after
we asked numerous times if there would be a lot of food or else we would choose buffet service, and many guests had their salad fall off the sides of the plate onto the table because the plate was so tiny and improper for eating off of.
-They didn't give enough bread for each guest at the table and didnt have any extra to refill the baskets so everyone could have a roll or slice in this case. Guests commented on this after the wedding.
- They were supposed to serve wine during dinner but didnt really ask our guests if they wanted more wine so they could drink it. So for about an hr of the wedding guests didnt really drink like they would have wanted because they didnt want to feel rude to interupt the festivities by getting up to get more.
-Sodas were served in cans but luckily the winery started serving it in glasses when we requested (as I said, they are accommadating).
-Food was skimpy on the sides, my husband only had like 5 mini squares of potatoes (like the size of breakfast o'brien potatoes) when we asked many times about food portions being ample.
-The caterers hurried through the service, picking up full plates of desserts and throwing them out so they could hurry up and leave, as a result, when about 50% of my guests (including me), came back from one dance (dancing started when desserts were available), our dessert was gone. This was not a slice of cake put on each setting. We had a buffet of desserts and each guest went and choose exactly what they wanted. I had a full plate of desserts with only one bite taken out and when I came back to my seat, it was thrown away!
-Cacy the person who did our food tasting and was the captain at our wedding has a sour attitude in our experiences with her. When my husband and I brought our moms to our food tasting, she gave us attitude because she wasnt expecting them (and I had informed our venue that they would be attending). She was rude, only after
some time did she change her outlook and treat us nicely. But she really didn't explain much or serve us our food in the manner that it would be served to us at our wedding so we know what we are getting. Then all through our wedding she had a sour face, she looked like she hated being there. She gets the job done but needs to learn some better people skills in her job since she is customer service. It would have been nice to be smiled at during our interactions with her.
- They didnt put out some of the details we discussed like candles on the outside patio. Luckily my florist had extra decorations to put out there at the last minute.
-They put out the ceremony chairs late so we could not use the decorations purchased for decorating the isles.

They are again very nice but seem to be used to much more casual events (the coordinators didnt dress the part as an example, got comments from guests as to why they didnt dress the part) and were not able to provide all the service necessary to make our wedding run as we were had discussed with them. We let them know what we were expecting and the service didnt match our expectations. If they want to run more upscale events, they have some work to do.

When I complained to the venue, at first I got a brush off email from the owner but the coordinator gave me a better apology. They basically said there was nothing they would do about it but apologize and try to change for the future. No thank you for your business or attempt to end it as a good experience or some wine as a gift to say I am sorry.

We would highly recommend Wiens Family Cellars, our wedding was beautiful and stress free. From the first e-mail to the end of the wedding, the service was exceptional.
We planned a small wedding (30 people) and after visiting some other wineries and golf courses in the Temecula/Murrieta/Menifee areas, the value for cost at Wiens was above average, there were no hidden fees, no facility fee for less than 50 guests, the packages included everything and the wedding coordinator for the wedding day was a must ! The genuine smile and willingness to help from the wedding coordinators and all the staff was also very important in our decision to held our wedding at Wiens.
We got much more than we could expect, Jaime, Lilia and Reanna, the wedding coordinators, were always willing to help and on the wedding day they were there all day long taking care of everything and every detail and they even printed the menus and did the place card holders ! The dressing rooms, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception locations were nicely decorated ( the Barrel Room at Wiens is unique) and the food and wines were so good. All our guests complimented us for the beautiful setting, food and wines.

Wien's was a very lovely location for a wedding. Great background and layout. The ceremony was held as discussed as well as the reception. Several options on items provided we available. All staff members were helpful and courteous. The landscape lend to good photos and everyone was very comfortable. We had lots of good feedback for attendees.

The wedding planner for this location was provided and she was fantastic - Jaime P. She was very helpful and always had a great attitude. Her assistants (Reanna, I'm sorry, can't remember the other!) were also great. Always answered with a smile and had great ideas and suggestions.

Wiens Family Cellars is definitely one of our favorite venues to perform at. Located in the heart of the beautiful Temecula Valley, it boasts spectacular views of the picturesque wine country and offers outstanding wine, beer & food. All of our weddings & events at Wiens have gone off without any hitches, this is due to the incredible event staff; we never have to worry about anything, Jaime & her team always have it covered. There are various areas throughout the property to choose from: including the event pavilion, barrel room and two vineyard lawn areas for ceremony & cocktail receptions. We are looking forward to doing many more wedding at Wiens

I have had the pleasure to photograph many weddings at Wiens Family Cellars. I can honestly say that one of the reasons that I love photographing events there is that Jamie and the rest of the event staff there consistently ensure that things run smoothly, efficiently, and are stress-free for everyone involved -- which is very important for potentially nervous brides. I have no problem referring Wiens Family Cellars to any of my clients who are still in search of the perfect venue for their wedding. Oh, and as a side note, the butternut squash ravioli served there is amazing!

Wiens is an awesome place to host your wedding or special event! The staff is amazing from the tasting room, to the event staff, and everyone in between. As a vendor at many local Temecula wineries, Wiens is by far our favorite!
