i'm a graphic designer so of course i was really excited when it came time to design my wedding invitations. i wanted them to be letterpressed so a friend recommended sam, from wildflower press, and i couldn't have been happier. sam is super responsive. he will email you back right away and answer any questions you may have. he even said to me once, no question is a dumb question. so brides, ask away. his quote came back less than any other printer in chicago and he is willing to work with your budget. i am really picky when it comes to stationery and was completely happy with the quality of his work. sam even delivered my save the dates and invitations to me himself. talk about great service! sam is so humble and down to earth and i can tell he truly loves what he does. i've received so many compliments on my save the date and invitations. i highly recommend wildflower letterpress!

For anyone designing your own invitations but getting them printed letterpress, definitely check out Wildflower Letterpress. They are located in Chicago (and I am in LA) but I conducted the whole order over email.

I was stunned by how much they went above and beyond for me. After getting many quotes, I found Mercurio Brothers to be the cheapest for letterpress, yet they needed 4-6 weeks to get the job done.

Wildflower matched Mercurio Brother's price and turned the invitations around in a week. They also sent me more invitations then I asked for and all kinds of free letterpress notecards.

I can only say wonderful things about them and their work. I am in love with the old-world feel of letterpress, but didn’t want to spend thousands on something many guests would simply throw away. With Wildflower, I was able to design my own invitations and response cards and send them via email as PDF files to letterpress print. Of course, Wildflower also mainly does custom work and offers very creative designs. Excellent e-mail contact and very fast printing time (only a couple of weeks). Very easy to work with from a distance and they sent the sweetest note with the shipment of invitations.
