Metroparks of Toledo

The Toledo Metroparks staff were excellent and very helpful. The park Rangers were courteous and patient as I had to be let into the hall many times before the wedding day to show the decorator and wedding coordinator. One downside is that the hall wa a little pricey compared to other halls but if you become a member of the Toledo metroparks you receive a significant discount. I would recommend using them.

The spot was nice and we had a beautiful day. The staff at Wildwood was nice enough but not overly helpful. They had a few suggestions and helpful hints. The rules there on tents are very strict for an outdoor place though so be careful if you plan on having a tent.

We could not have picked a better day, the stress leading up to it was enormous. Luckily we had a perfect day. Mid afternoon the shade was just right. It was super cheap too. Enough space for a big wedding, yet intimate enough to be done right. They had a nice gazebo set up as well, but it could use some work. Overall though with the luck of weather I would really recommend it.
