Wilton Invitation Kit
Reviews for Wilton Invitation Kit
I brought blank invitations from walmart and I did it myself due to my last minuet wedding. Planning this wedding actually brought out my creative side. My invitations were all white with nothing on them for help. Somehow I was able to create a perfect design for my wedding and when I printed the invitations from my computer, everyone asked me where I got them from and no one believed me when I told them they had actually came from walmart and that I did them my self. I let people RSVP me verbally, by email and text messages. It worked for me.
I ordered these invites on Ebay, and printed them from home using the template they provided on their website.
I decided to do the invitations myself as it was the least expensive route but also because I wanted to alter the colors to my preferences where I could adjust what I wanted. With the invitation kit I was able to test the colors, font, use the readily available website and ideas included in the kit and make the inviations myself! The only down side was that I had to buy additional larger envelopes to mail the cards in, but all in all that was only another 15 dollars...beats the heck out of a 200.00 invitation cost! I was very happy with the end result invitation.
I purchased this invitation kit from AC Moore while it was on sale. It had 50 print your own invites along with the envelopes, response cards and response card envelopes. The Wilton website has templates to use with Microsoft Word which makes it very easy to set up your invites. We printed them all out on our computer using a wonderful elegant font and they look like we ordered them.
The plus with using a print at home kit was that we could try out different wordings and settings and colors without having to pay for samples or wait for that matter. The cardstock was high quality and the ink didn't smudge or anything. I highly recommend them!
I was able to find my invitation kits online at amazon.com for $9.95 each. They are gorgeous and elegant.
My fiance and I are getting married on a tight budget. I knew exactly what I wanted in my invitations and had already designed it on the computer. We decided to look and see if there was something we could get and do it ourselves. We found the kit and it is beautiful! We ordered 200 photo prints to paste on the bottom, and we typed our invitation wording on the vellum overlay. It turned out beautiful and even better than I could have iamagined! They were much cheaper, and easy to come. The only compaint was that the particular kit that I found was harder to find the template on the website. We had to search for a while. Once we found it, everything worked wonderfully!
20 $ for a box of 20 invitations come out to be about 1$ a peice but it is a great deal! the website has a wide variety of invitations for every season
We bought the Wilton invitations from JoAnn's Fabrics! They have some beautiful designs and even a selection with pockets! Definitely something to look into if you're interested in DIY Invitations. They have a free web-tool where you can download the templates for your specific invitations. If you can find some 20% off coupons, those definitely come in handy!
