Windsor Park Conference Center

We loved the venue and the food was great! However all the planning up to the date was poorly taken care of. We did not receive returned phone calls, our menu planning experience was terrible because the week before they still did not have the correct menu we ordered. When we had set up an appointment to meet with the vendor to review our dinner menu they claimed that the receptionist never wrote down the time in their calendar so they did not expect us for our dinner tasting. We were very nervous how the event would turn out. We had our planned seating chart and they tried to turn it all around on us without speaking with us. We ordered 2 bars, one on each end of the ballroom and we only had 1. We ordered specific appetiezers and did not get what we ordered. Thankfully our guests never knew any problems and they were kept behind the scenes. Our guests loved the food we did have, and say it was the best they have had for a large wedding. You will take a risk if you are very detail oriented and want things set a specific way but if you really dont care about your reception its a great place to go.

Windsor Park is a beautiful place. The only thing I didnt like was the food was not on timje. It left our wedding party sitting in the hallway before out main enterence. In Order to have a D.J. at this hall the DJ must have ins or you will have to add ins from your home ins on them. "Due to the noise...could cause someones ears to hurt". Also make sure the cake baker is a professional. If you are having a family member make your wedding cake its a big no no here.

We were thrilled with this vendor and especially with the food. Years after our wedding people still mention how great the food was at our wedding. The outdoor area was great and we got some great photos out front by the water. Highly recommended.
