With These Steps Choreography

When we were planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a fantastic choreographed first song to dance to. Since we like all music, we wanted it to start out with Frank Sinatra and end with LMFAO.
We found the Mary Murphy Studio (So you think you can dance TV Show) and Miki at the same time. The studio was slightly less, and of course we were on a budget, so we decided to go with the studio. They of course also told us that the choreographer would be able to do both songs with us, however after we paid and had a few lessons we found out our instructor only knew ballroom and no hip hop! We went back to Miki (Four weeks before our wedding!!!) and paid for her to choreograph and teach us the fun part of our song! Not ONLY was she amazing, but she also helped us polish up the ballroom part of our dance, and make it that much more fun! Also we noticed that what we were learning at the studio was exactly what several other couples were learning for their dance!!

Miki was wonderful to work with, she was flexible to work around our schedule, and it's no small feat to teach a girl with two left feet how to dance! Our dance was original, fun and exactly the memorable dance we wanted. After one lesson with her, my husband and I looked at each other and said "we should've come to her in the first place!" I can't gush more about how talented she is, patient, professional and how she is the right choice to help you make your first dance special! Without a doubt in my mind I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Did she tell you she's danced on broad way and I'm sure she'll be too modest to tell you how talented she is, and how easy and fun she makes it all! Well worth every single penny and twice over. You won't get better value for your dollar. She's worth triple what she charges!!!!!!

We were more than happy and our friends/family loved our dance - if only our DJ didn't mess up our music twice for it, we'd have a video for her site so you can see what a great job she does. Amazing.

We met Miki with a suggestion from our DJ Dennis Jones (http://www.sandiegocreativemusicdjs.com). We forgot to get any help with our first dance. We thought we could wing it, but we were totally wrong! Miki on 24 hour notice said she could meet and help us. We practiced with her for two hours. She was very patient and full of energy. After two hours we had a great routine that she made for us. Thanks so much Miki! The wedding was beautiful and fun!

Miki is great! She created a great dance that we could learn at our level but yet still challenge us in a fun way. My husband being in the navy can have a crazy schedule and she was able to have later lessons and we danced right up until our wedding. Love it. Great way to spend time together when all the wedding craziness is happening!! Plus our friends and family loved it!!

It was always a dream of mine to do a choreographed dance at our wedding. With all the hectic planning there was no time to do it ourselves. With only a few weeks’ notice I contacted Miki. Dan and I met with her only three times, each time for an hour. Each lesson provided so much more than just a dance lesson. Not only did I get a great work out, but that one hour was a designated time that allowed us to forget about all the stressful plans and just have fun. The first dance is a significant moment; it is the first time that a couple gets to move simultaneously and in sync as; no longer as two separate entities but as a one. Those three hours allowed us the opportunity to work together and trust each other. I do mean trust! Miki was able to add a few flips into the dance and without full trust and confidence in my partner we would not have been able to do so. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and danced just about every night. It was a special treat to continue to practice moving in a new way. I am so thankful for her time and creativity. Our video and pictures are something we will be able to look back on and treasure forever.

Miki was an absolute joy to work with! We found her to be extremely professional and she put together the perfect dance to our choice of music and our skill level.

Last minute revisions were never an issue when working with Miki...she was able to alter our dance as we practiced, so there wasn't any pressure to perform more difficult moves.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our 1st dance and our guests were really impressed!
