This place is horrible! I ordered a themed cake for my daughters baby shower, it is our first grandchild and I paid in full 2 months in advance. The cake I was presented with was a pink camo cake and looked nothing like the John Deere themed cake I had given her a picture of. She did agree to remake the cake as ordered and I could pick it up at 6pm. When my husband and som in law arrived to pick it up no one would answer either door, neither would she answer her phone or text messages. 3 days later she has refused to take my calls or return my emails. Even though my cake was paid for in full. Do not use this company if your event I'd important to you! Buyer beware!
This is the one place in my area (killeen,tx) that actually does a beautiful wedding cake. Other than Wal-mart or HEB this place actually will do what you want and not what they beleive they should do. The 'cake lady' is very sweet and was totally cool with all my designes that I wanted and even knew what I wanted when I asked for a Gibson Les Paul Guitar as the Grooms cake! I was so happy cause I couldnt find anyone else that could do that!. So yes anyone that is in need of a good cake place, call Vyvette at Works of ARt Cakes in Killeen, Tx! She'll help you out!
Three days before my event I received a call that for my order to completed as ordered the price was wrong and that if I wanted it as ordered the price would be double or I could make design changes to keep it the same price, when we tried to file a complaint with owner when picking up order we were told to leave and not given the order. Do not use them they will try rip you off days before your event when you don't have the ability to go somewhere else in the short time frame given! I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
