Hello future brides! I wanted to comment on how wonderful working with Luis from Xtreme Soundz is! He is fun, easy going, and very professional! He had great suggestions for the day and took everything I said to heart to make our wedding day better than I could have imagined. Everything went so smoothly and he worked very well with all of our vendors! He surprised us with a few things that made for great laughs... and photos!! Our guests danced the night away and it was definitely thanks to Luis. We recommend him with no hesitation :-)

Luis was AWESOME! I went to a friends wedding last summer and Luis was the DJ for her's and I decided he would be the perfect fit for our wedding! Luis was so great to work with! He was very accommodating, we planned our wedding from Hawaii so he was able to meet with us the week of the wedding after we flew in to go over the whole plan for the big day! He met and exceeded all of our expectations. The whole wedding reception went smoothly, the music choices were great, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG! Luis was amazing! Every meeting we had he was full of energy and excited to be doing his job. He knew everything and helped us pull together our ceremony and reception. Luis is just simply the best. He is so passionate about what he does and he has so much fun doing it! Luis has done just about all of our friends weddings, but made each of our weddings different and special. I trust him so much I didn't even give him a play list...We told him to just work his magic. Xtreme Soundz was amazing! Lou had some issues getting access to the venue room because a party ran late, but he made it happen and I didn't even know there was ever an issue. He walked us right through the night and was there every step of the way. During our parent dances he even surprised us with recorded messages from all of our parents, that was awesome! Our wedding was on a Sunday so some people left early. But Lou made sure it was a party and he kept everyone dancing. We had a blast! I would highly recommend his services!

Luis is a pleasure to work with and you can't beat the price! My wedding was beautiful with the uplighting he provided and monogram that was displayed on the wall behind my sweetheart table. Wish I could give more than 5 stars because Luis and Vanessa were amazing. They were one of my favorite vendors to deal with. My reception would not have been the same if it were not for them. They managed to get everyone up and dancing, even my new father in law and surprisingly my grandma (85 year old portuguese women) also took a spin on the dance floor. Anyone who knows either of them knows they do not dance ever. It just goes to show that they made everyone feel comfortable and have fun. Luis knew exactly what music to play. He also had a few surprises in store that had me speechless and his centerpiece give away game was one of my favorite things of the whole night it had everyone in tears from laughing so hard. Lou went above and beyond my expectations. He made everything easy for my husband and I. He was extremely professional, yet made the wedding a blast at the same time. He played a great variety of music and kept the dance floor busy the entire night. I would highly recommend him as a DJ. He also provided uplighting for our wedding which looked great!

We just loved our jack&jill & wedding DJ Luis Mota at Xtreme Soundz DJ! He was very accomodating, helpful, punctual and flexible to work with. And not to mention our guests just LOVED him! They could not stop talking for weeks after about how great he was! We had a wide range of guests from all ages and places and Luis mixed it up perfectly, just enough young dance music, just enough oldies and even some Portguese music too! All of our guests were on the dance floor literally all night long! He used the list we gave him of songs we'd love to hear and songs we'd like to hear and created the perfect sound to our wedding, from cocktail hour and dinner to dancing. It was also very touching for us to hear our "special surprise recordings". It was such a touching moment that we will never forget. And we just got our CD in the mail this week! Now we can always have the soundtrack to our wedding whenever we want to hear it. Oh and the table centerpiece give away was probably the most creative and fun way I have ever seen. I will NEVER forget how Luis brought out the party in our wedding that night. He got some of our guests to dance and party like I would have never imagined they could have. Not only was his services just perfect, but he was also very reasonably priced! We were on a tight budget and still Xtreme Soundz DJ was very affordable! Thanks Luis for your unbelieveable work! I cannot express how happy we were with Luis from Xtreme Soundz!

In April 2011 my husband and I attended my sisters wedding in RI, we loved the DJ. Although her wedding tone was much calmer than we planned ours to be, we could tell that Xtreme Soundz would be great for our big day by Luis’ flow of events, and fun, yet professional demeanor.

After exchanging a few emails and finding out that he was willing to travel to Worcester, MA, we arranged to meet Luis at his office. Luis was so accommodating with our time constraints, and was willing to stay after hours to meet with us. Once we sat with him and talked about how we wanted our reception to be, it was a sealed deal. We felt so comfortable with our wedding in his hands.

We wanted some random music for our reception, as well as to play a little game that he wasn’t familiar with, and he happily obliged our quirkiness!

The day of the wedding came, and to Luis’ surprise people began to arrive at the reception location much earlier than previously expected (due to down pours our ceremony had to be moved indoors).
The poor guy hadn’t even gotten to set up yet! But he handled it perfectly.

After the ceremony was through he seamlessly moved into DJ mode and organized the whole wedding party for our entrances.
Everything was absolute perfection!
He even surprised us with up-lighting, for which we are so very thankful, it really set the mood!

The flow of the wedding was amazing, I still have people telling me how wonderful the DJ was and they had such a blast at our wedding!

And if that’s not enough, when we came home from our honeymoon we had a cd in the mail from him with all of our event music on it, including little speeches from our parents!

I will definitely recommend Luis & Xtreme Soundz to anyone that needs a DJ.

When you plan your wedding day you want to make sure you and your guests enjoy themselves. Luis went above an beyond to make out wedding reception a night to remember. From the moment we were introduced to the last dance the dance floor was full. We can't even explain how much fun people had. Luis did an excellent job at our wedding! The second the ceremony was over he had people having a good time. He brought a mini-golf game which was such a better alternative to the clinking of glasses. And from there on he had people up and on the dance floor. He also made sure that my wife and I enjoyed ourselves, making a few personal trips to the head table to speak to us and let us know its our day, and not everyone else's.

Luis did a GREAT job in creating the perfect party atmosphere for our wedding. People ,who don't usually dance, were at the dance floor and having a blast. He periodically would come up to us to inform us what was planned next (cake cutting, parent dance, etc). I even had a wonderful surprise from my coworkers who gave a song request to Luis via email on the same day. You will not regret hiring Xtreme Soundz for your party! Luis was excellent! We absolutely love his personality and we felt like we knew him for years. He came up with great ideas, and it was not the "same old" wedding DJ stuff. He spent a lot of time with us at our couple appointments and he really tries to understand what we wanted. There was never a time we had an empty dance floor. He adds his personal touches and parents best wishes. He set up very nice uplighting to the room. His price was excellent and we did compare his services to a couple others. Everyone had a great time, and I know that Luis and his co-worker were one of the major reasons why. I did have a very important family member unhappy that their requests were not played. Other than that, my husband I were extremely happy with Xtreme Soundz DJ & would highly recommend him!

Before the wedding we had a couple meetings to establish the music, Lou was very helpful in giving ideas for entrance music. He also had a nice surpirse for us the day of the wedding. He has our parents come in and record a special message for us that he then edited in to the music while we danced with our parents.

Luis was excellent to work with! If your looking for a DJ who knows how to get the crowd dancing then Luis is the man to book. My 80 year old great aunt was dancing to Pitbull!! Not only did he do everything that Mike & I asked, he also added his own personal touches onto our wedding (he asked us first). He had his own fun way to give away our centerpieces that included a dance off (we weren't sure how to give them away), he also had our parents record personal messages to us that played during our dance with our parents & had the groomsmen create a chair for me while my husband removed my garter. He was an absolute pleasure to work with (as well as his wife Vanessa), he listended to everything we said & we truly had an amazing time. It was an unforgettable night & I would certainly recommend him to every bride looking to have a great time at their wedding!

OMG Luis was my FAVORITE vendor to work with for our wedding! From the moment we met with him we knew he would be fun to work with. He had a lot of great ideas and helped us make the night memorable. Luis and Paul were so easy to work with. They respond very quick both by cell phone and email, have forms they fill out so everything is taken care of and in writing and have you look it over before everything is set (this helped me so much to make sure I didn't miss a thing). They have a few fun tricks up their sleeves to make the night special and fun and "get" how to pick music by the crowd's feel and get everyone dancing. I got several compliments about how great our DJs were and my new husband and I were very happy ourselves. I'm so glad we chose Xtreme Soundz!

DJ Luis was absolutely superb. My wife and I found his information at one of the wedding expos and decided to meet with him. We were going to make other appointments to meet with people, but after speaking with him we knew we had found our DJ.

He has a really great energy about him and is really easy to work with. He did a great job of working with us to find out what our tastes were and he was able to come up with an exceptional playlist for our wedding.

He is extremely professional and is very good about keeping in contact with you before the event as well as helping you make your event special. He took our requests (must have songs) and made sure they got played, he also helped us pick some things that made our wedding unique. We even had a special song for our first dance that was cut special for us and he made sure to play the specific copy we gave him. Our first dance turned out beautiful (2 months of dance classes, lol).

At no point after dinner was there a single time when the dance floor was empty, we had a killer party and DJ Luis kept us going all night. I can't say enough about how bright and enthusiastic he is, and that energy translates into his awesome stage presence. He works a crowd like a pro and puts on a well polished performance. My wife and I highly highly recommend him to anyone.

Of all the raves I had gotten the night of my wedding, the DJ was definately one of them. My guests were asking about him that same night and made great comments even after the wedding. Lou was professional, kind, flexible and patient throughout the whole process. The first time I sat down with him I could just tell he would be organized. We had to rearrange things with the wedding party a million times, and Lou was very understanding. He was responsive to all emails and phone calls, and even offered us help if we needed it in other areas. Xtreme Soundz also provided our pink uplighting and floor monogram which really transformed the room. He had the most reasonable pricing in all areas which was so helpful. I provided songs I wanted played and not played, and he followed it. Also Brides, take his advice and make a top 10 because the night flies by. My mom also raved about him and she's picky. Have Lou give your centerpieces away in 'a suprise fun way', it was one of the funniest and one of the most memorable times of the night. Even for the garter toss he had the groomsmen make a human chair, which I loved. People danced literally all night, even those who don't normally dance, and I mean all ages. Don't waste time shopping and looking around, I did plenty of research for that, so this should be your one stop spot. Even during announcemnts Lou set the perfect tone. He made the planning less stressful and easy going.

I am HUGE on feeling that I receive proper service for what I pay for. It was a match made in heaven when I met and signed on with Luis Mota of Xtreme Soundz for DJing services for my wedding. He was fantastic with keeping up communication for the many months before the wedding. He met with us several times to ensure that we chose the music that was right for us. At our last meeting he sat down and played all of our specifically chosen music that would be used for the ceremony, and reception just to be sure that everything was to our satisfaction. This was great and took away so much stress; we knew that he was in control of his business and that we wouldn't have to worry about a thing.

On the day of the wedding everything was executed perfectly. His transitions from song to song are flawless, and his announcing skills are FANTASTIC! Let me tell you, he knows how to get the party started! I am still hearing from friends and family about how awesome my wedding was and how my DJ "really knew how to get everyone out on the dance floor."

Xtreme Soundz DJ was amazing. Everyone felt as though the music was perfect and got everyone, even me who does not like to, DANCE and kept the great times rolling. Even though things started our wedding late, Luis was very helpful in communicating with my wife and I to make sure everything we wanted got done and in time so that we maximized our time for dancing. Luis did a great job being a DJ at our wedding! We had a blast and we received a lot of positive feedback from our guests. There were also some surprises that Xtreme Soundz did at our wedding and they were all fun. I recommend the mini golf to get the groom/bride to kiss. My guests loved that and thought it was so cool, they'd never seen anything like it and really got into it. Absolute best DJ experience ever! Luis and team did an amazing job at our wedding this past June. He was great to work with knowing exactly what we were looking for. Luis & his assistant Dee-jayed my wedding May 2011. He was great. He kept me updated as to timing of events throughout the night. My husband & I met with him several times throughout the year & we discussed which songs we wanted played as well as how we wanted our bridal party introduced. He gave us a sheet with all our requests for review before the wedding so we could make any corrections. He was very good with answering my emails. He got the bride & groom to kiss by having guests participate in a special way, as well as giving out the centerpieces in a special way. He also added a nice touch to the mother/son & father/daughter dance. He kept the danceflloor moving & got the vibe to what our guests would dance to (kept it old school which we wanted). He was an all around nice guy & would recommend him to others needing a DJ.

Let me just say our dj was the best. From his professionalism to the way he involved himself with the crowd and made himself personable. Your dj makes or breaks your wedding and Luis from Xtreme Soundz far surpassed our expectations. He had also dj'ed for our wedding shower and for that also did an amazing job. He listened to everything me and my husband wanted and made sure to always keep us updated with his next move. He made sure we knew about everything going on and were ok with it. Even for song selections we basically told him we know you know what's in and we trust you so play whatever you think and it was zoo great. The crowd loved him and the fun games he had to play along the way just made it so much better and we loved he way it interacted us with all of our guests. If you want a fun, professional, young, and personable DJ then Xtreme Soundz is definitely the way to go, I've already referred another bride to him for her wedding in August.

May 13th 2011 was my special day. Luis provided the music for the evening. He was awsome. I am still getting feedback as to the best time that everybody had.. My most important request was for the groom. To play heavy metal music at the end of the night which he did with the such dignity.. we all watched my groom jump around having a blast to his very heavy metal music. I had several hours of hip hop and disco where I jumped around and had a blast. My young boys were dancing like crazy the entire night to their Hip Hop Music.. He kept everything going so smooth all night. Things I hadn't even thought of, he had covered. This is the second event Luis has provided entertainment for me. The first time, was a school dance. He can get the party going... His system that he uses is the best.. Love it. I personally will consider him for any event that i know of that comes along and refer him to any bride looking to have so much fun and no worries.

We couldn't have asked for better. We feel so lucky to have found Luis and Vanessa. We actually just happened to find him when we went to look at our reception hall decorated for another wedding and the owner introduced us to Luis. We automatically clicked. We took a chance with him, not having heard him play but couldn't have been happier. He was so easy to work with. He accomodated us and came to our rehearsal at the last minute. He played whatever we wanted.
We had many people at our wedding ask who he was and where he was from. One of my guests even thought he was attractive!! Sorry Vanessa! Anyone who books with him will not be sorry. Our day was perfect!

Luis was excellent from beginning to end. We knew at our first meeting with him that he was going to do a great job and that was 1 less thing we had to worry about during that stressful time. He made great suggestions for songs, also had creative ways for the bride and groom to kiss (not the annoying clinging on the glasses) He also played music for all of the generations there and the dance floor was full all night. Luis was incredibly professional and knowledgable throughout the erntire planning process. Most of our communication was over email as I had recently relocated and his responses were always timely and reassuring. Our communication with Luis increased as our date drew closer where he wanted to be 100 percent accurate on all names, song titles, song choices, spelling etc. He is amazing and the best DJ I have come to encounter. He checked in with us during the reception to ensure everything was to our liking, was unbelievably punctual and organized and respected our music choices! All music played was wedding appropriate and my guests were more than happy with the genres played :) thank you luis for making our wedding as perfect as it was!!!!

The second dinner was over the dance floor was full and it stayed that way the WHOLE night. We had soo much fun that we ending up wanting an extra hour. I have no complants at all by husband wished he played a little more polish music but I wouldnt have changed a thing. He also had some fun extra ideas to change things up and make them more interesting. I would have to say the dance off for the centerpieces was the funniest thing ever! Amazing DJ and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Luis of Xtreme Sounds is someone I would reccomend for your wedding without hesitation. My wife and I paid for our wedding ourselves, so we shopped around for the best price on a DJ. We found Xtreme Sounds to be in the lower quarter of prices. When we met with Luis , we found him to be a consumate professional and booked his service.

Luis met with us on several ocassions prior to our wedding helping us plan our reception. He allowed us to set a timeline of the evening's events, offering suggestions, and assuring us he would keep the program moving smoothly. At our first meeting, Luis told us he would cater to the type of reception we'd like to have. (loud & Rowdy, Quiet & intimate). We told him that we wanted a wild, fun filled party. Luis responded by playing the type of music that kept our dance floor filled all night. Many of our guests said it was the most exciting wedding they'd ever been to.

Luis was a professional throughout the entire process. I felt he was always in command, trusted that he would follow through on his promises, and never worried about his part in the wedding. Those of you who are getting married know the fewer things you have to worry about, the better.

We just received our complimentary wedding CD from Luis (he compiles a mix of songs from your reception for a nice little keepsake!), and lets just say he consistently exceeded our expectations from the moment we met him at his studio till now! Using Xtreme Sounds for my wedding was the best decision I could have ever made. Half way through my wedding two people asked me the DJ's name and one guest already booked them for there own wedding (only 2 weeks after my wedding).
The DJ's wife also helped me with every breakdown I had previous to the wedding day. Vanessa helped me with everything from the flowers, invitations, candy buffet, card box, flowers etc. . Vanessa and Luis make the best team and made my wedding day one to never forget.

This DJ service is the best service. Luis was my dj for my sweet sixteen and it was awesome, he played the best music and always made everyone happy. There was not a time when nobody was on the dance floor. He even played games that my friends still talk about now. I recommend him for any ocassion he is fun and an experience i will never forget.

I have used him more then once and both times he was great. He also did my niece wedding and everyone thought he was great. I would use him again if ever I needed a DJ before.

The DJ services were incredible! I would recommend his services highly to any future weddings or any events. He listened to what me and my husband wanted and played what we wanted.
