Yarrow Golf and Conference Resort

Our wedding looked beautiful when it was set up at Yarrow. The staff was incredibly friendly and flexible with any changes that we made. You pay for what you get with Yarrow and sometimes you get a little extra. The cabin we stayed in was nice, clean, and close to the reception hall so we didn't have far to walk after the wedding.

I could not be happier with the help of Lana Messing, the wedding coordinator. She helped make my day seamless, and the entire staff was prompt and flexible with us. The venue was GORGEOUS and we loved every aspect of getting married and having our reception there!

This wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing places to take pictures, and the lodge just feels very homey. Wedding guest described our event as intimate. I totally agree with this statement, even though the golf course is open to the public, I never noticed any other people outside of the wedding walking around and disturbing our event. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have a lot of outside help from friends and family for little details that needed to be done, not sure if I we would have different feelings if we did not have the outside help. The only complaint I had was that the rooms were very pricey for what you get. They are very small and the cottage room where my husband and I stayed our wedding night had paint splattered all over the bathroom like they were re-doing the rooms but didn't clean up afterward. Other than that I highly recommend this place :)

When we decided to choose Yarrow for the wedding and reception location we had a list of questions. One of them was regarding any landscaping or remodeling projects that were expected during the timeframe of our wedding. We were specifically told that at the time none were planned. We were very disappointed when we arrived for the rehearsal to find out that not only were they doing some landscaping on the tee box that was directly in the backdrop from where our ceremony would take place, but they were also working on remodeling some of the rooms which caused my check-in to be an our late on the day of the rehearsal.

Additionally, we had some guests that stayed at Yarrow the night of our wedding that made comments about the cleanliness of the rooms and the value for the price they were charged. We were told that they were currently working on some remodeling but we felt that for the price of the rooms during renovation where high considering the work being done.

We were happy with the response we received from the general manager regarding some of our concerns after the wedding was over. They were able to make up for some of the bad experiences we had.

Okay, so it was possibly the most picturesque place I could have chosen, and I paid my money's worth for it. I probably came at a bad time when I ended up with three different wedding coordinators, the final one whom actually left my wedding without checking with the family to see if we needed anything else from her. They seemed out to nickel and dime me for everything I was worth, but that comes with choosing such an expensive place on a more modest budget. Yes, it was beautiful and the staff who actually served the food and helped me set up the room were pleasant and did a good job, but the things leading up to it were less than par. I'd recommend them, but only to a more upper class family who can afford nearly anything, and who can make sure that they have their stuff together without needing anyone from this vendor to assist.

As a wedding officiant, I found this venue to be outstanding in many ways. The wood deck for outdoor ceremonies is not just pretty, but acoustics are wonderful. Everyone can hear the ceremony! It's got large changing rooms for your bridal party, and a lovely reception room. The food looked great, too, though I did not stay to eat. All the employees I encountered were pleasant and ready to please. No need for two sites when you can have the wedding and reception all at one, yet feel as if you didn't.

Savvy Bridal has set up chair covers at Yarrow for numerous weddings and corporate events. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They make our job easy and the venue is beautiful.

Terrific facility! Very classy with lots to offer. For photo and video, Yarrow is a gold mine of terrific backdrops--indoors and out. Everyone from the staff has always been very professional and sharp. Great to work with, highly recommended.
