Zach did an amazing job at my wedding!!! He was very professional and made things go very smoothly. He was a great MC and DJ. He knew how to keep people on the dance floor and not make it feel forced. Before the wedding we had meetings to go over what I wanted and he met every one of my expectations. He also did a great job with lighting. We had our ceremony in the same room as our reception but with the lighting effects it felt like a completely different room. He is a 3 in one deal because you get a professional DJ, lighting expert, and also photobooth rental. The photobooth was the hit of the reception and I am so happy with how it turned out! Everyone had a blast using it and I have a great guestbook as a keepsake. Overall, I would recommend Zach to anyone in a heartbeat. Your wedding is in safe hands with him!!!!!!

We used Zach Downing Productions for my sister's wedding in June 2011 and my wedding in March 2012. Our experience was fantastic! We recieved so many compliments! Zach was very easy to work with in helping find the right DJ for us and DJ Matt was perfect! They were willing to even come to OKC. Matt met with my mom and me in person before the wedding and made me feel totally at ease and less worried about how the reception would flow. The online planner is awesome. Great music and lighting are essential to tie in together the whole wedding atmosphere and to build up the excitement throughout the night. Zach Downing Production was highly recommended by the guests that witnessed his creations and service at various weddings. So, I decided to go with him as our DJ/entertainment/room and dance floor lighting vendor. He also provided us with Photo booth as a wedding favor to our guests. From our first meeting with him I knew we made a good decision and investment. He proved to be very professional, friendly, helpful, resourceful, innovative and trustworthy. He addressed every one of our questions and concerns regarding his service and gave us lots of input, suggestions regarding other vendors. He helped make our wedding unique. Every one danced, ages 5-85. Photo booth was a great hit too. We are more than pleased with Zach Downing’s service and would highly recommend him.

Zach Downing was the DJ for both of our daughters weddings and he did a wonderful job! He was very professional and organized and kept everything moving smoothly and on time during the reception. We will definitely use him again when our youngest daughter gets married!

Zach knew exactly what to do and play to make my daughters wedding a fun time. It was New Years Eve, even the count down was great! No one sat very long the entire night. With a very short meeting, he took a few notes and made the night an event everyone will remember. All our guests want to have a reunion next New Years Eve. I would HIGHLY reccomend his services.

If you are looking for a wedding DJ that keeps your guests up, moving around, and having a blast from the moment your dance floor opens to the last song...look no further. Zach had everyone on the dance floor from my 13 year old little brother up to our 90 year old grandparents. He was so easy to work with from the moment I met him and he put me (the bride) at ease from the moment he came to set up for our ceremony to the last song! He was also our Emcee for the evening and not a single person in the room missed a beat thanks to Zach. I cannot thank him enough for making our night so fun all while making it look so effortless!

Zach, we can't say enough about how great you were to work with. Now for future brides: We met with SEVERAL large DJ companies before we were referred to Zach from a photographer. When he took the time to listen to us, talk about some ideas and not try to SELL us, we knew we found what we were looking for. You can't imagine how important professional, and polished entertainment can make a HUGE difference at your wedding but take my advice and INVEST in your DJ! Zach was a little more pricy than the other DJ's around but all our guests had SUCH a great time and raved about how nice and professional Zach was!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks and our videographer said they got some AMAZING video of some awesome dance moves by my dad! LOL

Zach was great to work with. He setup my daughter and her fiance's website. He also was respectful of the playlist they wanted.

We have attended a few weddings before ours, and the DJs that they picked based on getting a "good deal" had most of the guests leaving right after the cake was cut. Based on our recent experience, we decided to spend a little bit more; and it was well worth it! We didn't really know what to expect since we didn't give Zach a list of songs or anything like that, but he was amazing at reading our guests and most of the people stayed until the end of the night! We would definitely recommend Zach to anyone that wants a professional, articulate Entertainer rather than a person to read from a script and hit the "random" button on Windows Media Player.

We were so happy to have Zach do the music at our wedding! Everything was perfect! The music was great! Everyone had a lot of fun! We will definitely refer him to our friends!

Fantastic! - Zach was fantastic to work with he helped us so much before the wedding with giving us his "real life" experience with events and helped us see the "big picture" with how our wedding might happen and in the end it really helped us relax.

I had been to MANY weddings last year where no one had a clue, the DJ was annoying and no one had a good time, me and my husband(fiance at the time) actually left right after the cake was cut at one wedding (talk about DJ horror story weddings) I didn't want this.

I called and met with several "DJ companies" and in the end invested a little more with Zach and it paid off. His one on one service was excellent and I could not have asked for a more perfect reception. We had so many compliments on how much fun it was! Thanks again for working with us Zach we hope to see you at our anniversary party in 10 years!

Zach was very helpful and professional through our process of planning. When ever we had questions, he was there. The reception was nonstop fun!! He knew just what to do to keep the party going. He also did the lighting and it was beautiful! I would recommend him for any event.

Zach provided a donation of time and services to our fundraising event for the Autism Center of Tulsa, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Joe was fantastic to work with, he really wanted our wedding to be fantastic and we had so many compliments on how he got everyone together, kept the flow going we just were able to sit back and relax, working with Zach in planning was also great he helped us with so many ideas and how to really just show up and relax which is what we wanted to do. While Zach was already booked he let us know that his other DJ Joe would be a perfect fit for us and he was! We can't thank them enough for helping keep our day organized, fun and memorable! Zach was wonderful to work with!!! The reception was beautiful!!!! He added so much to the room and decorations by the lighting he used. Zach was great to work with. He did all the reception music, emcee parts, wireless speaker, prelude, and ceremony music as well as up lighting in the reception room. We danced the whole night. Tulsa Wedding DJ was great to work with. I was able to book them 2 weeks before my wedding and they did a great job. I didn't think that I needed and DJ since I had a string quartet also, but in the end they really made the reception flow. They are very professional. They did a good job with the music. They did not blast music that will make you go deaf. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Contacted on Short Notice and they were available! Great staff, very responsive and flexible as to what we needed!! Exceeded my expectations and made event less stressful for us!!!!!!!

I wanted to just say that everyone at the company that we worked with from the first phone call to the sendoff at the reception was very professional, very talented and had many of our guests dancing even as we were leaving! This is a great website! I would be happy to review TulsaWeddingDJ.Com. They were the entertainment at our wedding which was a few weeks ago, we just got back from our honeymoon and actually just got back from viewing our photos with our photographer. All I can say is....WOW WHAT A PARTY!! A majority of the pictures were of a packed dance floor...there are some of my grandma dancing with my grandpa which after the reception they told me they had not danced in 20 years together! HOW SPECIAL!!!

I want to let every bride know that I had been to MANY weddings around Tulsa this summer already and most of the DJ companies we saw cannnot hold a candle to the guys at TulsaWeddingDJ.Com. It was classy, yet fun and NO CHEESE!!(I wanted a DJ that didn't throw out the CHEESE and that is what I got)......

GREAT investment and great value is all I can say..everyone was commenting on how much fun they had and my parents especially loved the fact that Paul(OUR DJ) was so helpful in helping with many details, from lighting the candles for us before our guests arrived to greeting and making sure our guests knew to eat and drink and be merry!! Honestly I cannot thank Zach and TulsaWeddingDJ.Com enough, everyone was super to work with..very laid back yet on top of the game. I had shopped around Tulsa for other wedding DJ's and to be honest most other companies left a bad taste in my mouth from either being "super cheesy" or just "unprofessional". When I met with Zach after a referral from my photographer AND my venue(very good signs in my mind that we might have a winner) we clicked. He was on the same page as me with my vision, my wants and needs for my dream wedding.

During the planning stages they were always quick to return my phone calls, were VERY flexible with my work/school schedule for meetings(sometimes they even met with me at 8pm at night once!!)

The online planner was awesome, I loved being able to choose my music, and do a lot of planning at school and in my spare time(and going to medical school I didn't have a lot) so the online planning machine was great!

At the wedding they helped with our wedding ceremony and the music was of course perfect! The wireless microphones really made sure that all my guests could hear our vows and the love story was very awesome!!!(be sure to ask them about this)..

At the reception we felt like we could just relax, show up and not have to worry about anything(just like they said we would) the music was a perfect blend to our mix of guests and they made sure to keep the evening flowing from one event to the next without the awkward "when are we moving on" moments that I had experienced at other weddings. I can honestly say that I dont remember much about my wedding other than enjoying myself with my new husband, family friends and DANCING!! I am sure the food was great but I got more comments about our "DJ" than anything else!!

Thank you for sending me this link to review you guys! I meant to send you a "thank you" but we have just been so busy with the move we have not had time! If anyone is looking for a mature, fun and elegant company for a wedding this is the company to hire. When we got engaged we had both though about a band....well that didn't work out because most of the bands we had looked at were good..but not great and most couldn't do the emcee work we wanted at the reception...so we met with TulsaWeddingDJ.Com after a referral from our photographer, we booked and here we are! Thank you again for the great work and anyone who wants a classy, mature wedding DJ give them a call...

OH! also thank you for the ceremony music! It was perfect as well and I am soooo glad that we ended up getting the microphones for the ceremony...everyone said they could hear our vows perfectly!

I cannot say enough nice things about working with Tulsa Wedding DJ.Com. Zach was both very professional and personable. He was flexible with meeting times, which was wonderful since my husband and I live in Austin and were coming home for random weekends to plan the wedding. He sat down with us and went over all the details we could think of. We never felt rushed for time. He was extremely organized, and knowledgeable about music, mood-setting, and what we could do to make our wedding fun and memorable.

The reception went by very smoothly. Zach guided the evening's events with charisma and enthusiasm. The guest had a great time- the dance floor was always in use- and he was able to keep the energy in the tent up- especially during the garter toss!

Zach also did our lighting for the tent. It cost approximately what it would have cost to rent street lamps and chandeliers, but instead of boring yellow light, this lighting was creative and really added a unique flair to our reception. To me, lighting really helps set a mood. We had the low-end of what he could provide (because of our budget restrictions), but ieven that really made a difference. If you are looking for creative lighting talk to Zach- I am willing to bet he could provide it or would figure out a way to make it possible.

The service before and during the wedding was wonderful, but it is really the service after the wedding the made me realize how committed to his clients Zach is. We have been having problems with one of our vendors, and Zach has been helpful in getting us information and numbers we can contact to help us out. This is above and beyond what was in our contract.

Please do not be skeptical if this all sounds too flowery. We really did have an exceptional experience with this vendor. I highly recommend at least looking in to TulsaWeddingDJ.Com and setting up a meeting. Then you could begin to understand why we were so impressed.

We loved our DJ we did ALOT of research into our music and entertainment options before we booked one. Most companies didn't even call me back and I was tired of one company (that is menionded on here alot, starts with DJXXX.....that kept calling me over and over and really made me feel like I was a piece of meat being sujected to a telemarketing sales pitch even though they were cheap I had also heard some bad things about them from wedding vendors...

But when we contacted TulsaWeddingDJ.Com it was totally different..calm, relaxed and made us both feel very special..we decided to get an upgraded package that insured that the owner Zach would be our DJ. Also it helped that he was referred by our catering company AND photographer as their "best choice" for a DJ. They said they had seen "MANY bad DJ's" ruin a wedding...

We had so many guests comment on how our wedding was so fun...the flow was perfect and they complimented on how the DJ kept it going..I can honestly say that it was one of the best investments we made(other than my new husband :)....We paid a little more than most brides might think they should but when it came down to it..it was WELL worth it.. My dad even shelled out a TIP for him(which he tried to refuse but Joe and I insisted to him :)

But everyone has priorities ours was the food and fun...we had GREAT food from mershons catering and great entertainment..

A friend of mine just got married last weekend at the Philbrook and he was also at her wedding..they had a band, but the band couldn't make announcements so he also acted as the emcee(sp?) and DJ during their breaks and here is what I saw..there was a PACKED dance floor while the DJ was playing and about 10 people on the floor when the band was playing...my friend said she wished she had just gotten a DJ...

Zach made our wedding so much fun, so unique, and so special for us. All of our guests said it was one of the most beautiful and funnest weddings they'd ever been to and that their feet were sore from dancing all night!
Our main goal was that everyone would have had a wonderful experience and had a lot of fun. Thanks to Zach and Empire lighting, as well as our other vendors, we were able to achieve that goal!! I really wanted to have our monogram displayed on the wall of our venue, but we decided that it wasn't in our budget. My husband and Zach worked together to display our wedding monogram up on the wall. It really was the ultimate icing on the cake and stood out so beautifully!
All the lighting gave the perfect glow and we couldn't be happier! We'd highly recommend Zach and Empire lighting to anyone! He kept the party going until the very last minute and beautifully coordinated our wedding events so that the whole evening flowed. It was such a nice treat to not have to worry about what we were supposed to do next. Zach took care of all that so we could just enjoy ourselves. He also took a few of his own pictures at our wedding that came out really great and made a nice addition to our photo book. Thanks Zach and great job!!!!

Zach made planning the evening of our wedding easy! He did a great job keeping our reception flowing and kept the dance floor full all night. Zach also provided lighting services at our reception venue and truly transformed the reception hall. Lighting was not something we originally planned for, but was worth every penny. He even added some extra lighting outside that was unique and beautiful!

Zach, you are one of the best wedding DJ's ever! You had a great professional appearance and the presentation was fabulous. The lighting was outstanding and really complimented the entire reception area and flowers so well. The wedding planner was totally impressed with the DJ set up and wants to try to work with you on future weddings. You took complete control of the reception from the entrance of the first guest until the exit of the last guest. From that point forward, you kept the entire reception running flawleslsly and in a timely fashion. We went right from introducing the couple to the toasts, first dance, etc. The reception began at 7:00 and by 9:15 the formalities were done and everyone was able to kick back and have a great evening. The music was fantastic and the dance floor was hopping the entire evening. People continued to comment that it was the best wedding reception they'd ever been to. We definitely credit that to you Zach and your DJ services. Thank you for taking the time to make Matt and Taryn's wedding reception your top priority. Absolutely outstanding DJ! I have been to about 30 weddings in the past few years and there has not been another DJ as great as Zach!!! The lighting that he offers is magnificent and worth every penny. My wedding planner said that he was probably losing money on the lighting for not charging enough because it is wonderful. My wedding planner had been to other weddings with lighting similar to Zach's and said it was at least 3x the cost of Zach's lighting. He is easy to wrok with and is great with planning the timing of the reception. He runs a great show and makes everything so easy for the Bride & Groom. My husband and I were thrilled that we just had to show up and Zach took care of everything else:) Wonderful DJ who I would recommend to anyone for any bride with any price range!!!

Zach was a great DJ.....we were fairly picky on a certain way we wanted the reception to be run, and he followed our direction to a "T"! The guests loved him, and he was able to get them to join in several times, even though it was a rather sedate crowd. We had lots and lots of compliments on how neat the reception was, and Zach was a big part of that. Would definitely recommend him and his business!

Very thorough, really knows the business and did a quality job.

I got a great deal with this guy! Just ask and he'll give you a bargain. Eric is awesome and very classy. In fact, that might be my only argument is that he took his "professionalism" too far. On his website, you are able to request what songs you would like for him too play. I happened to pick the maximum amount of songs to do (50), which was obviously to hard to handle. He is very much so into "blending" songs into one another with not much of a transition in tone from one song to the next. However, with my eclectic assortment of songs, I feel he was not prepared for the list. He may have just printed it off that morning and just gone with it. He played some good songs and "blended" well; however, the only songs that he played that I requested were for the special dances: Our First Dance, Mother-Son, and Father-Daughter. The games he had us do where fun: the garter and bouquet toss. He was great at gathering people together (for the toast and cake serving). He is really more than just a DJ; he pulls a wedding party together as if he is the host of the party or wedding planner. I would most certainly suggest this DJ, but go easy on your requests. I tried to appeal to people from every class of music. I can see how this can be very difficult to blend. He even got me a glass of wine from the bartender during dinner. He really wants this to be a comfortable and memorable moment for you.

Yes, we booked them at the very last minute because our other plans for music at our reception fell through. Zach was very prompt and accommodating to meet me and the groom to discuss set list, preferences, etc.
However, the day of the wedding, the dj was late so we didn't have much time to go over information and plans. therefore, he made a number of mistakes: he played the wrong song for us to walk out after we kissed; he got names of the attendants incorrect; and he played songs that I specifically had on my "do NOT play list".
Other than that, I will say he kept the party going. He tried the best he could and he was helpful in cleaning up afterwards (besides his own gear) and he didn't have to do that.
Overall, I think we had a good dj and am glad to have picked Tulsa Wedding DJ. However, I think their prices are too high for what we actually received. It was a steap price for 4 hrs of music (and mistakes.)

We originally weren't going to hire a DJ for our wedding because of all the bad ones we saw, which, by the way, was every wedding DJ we'd ever seen. We were going to just rent equipment and hook up an iPod.

Upon a recommendation, though, we met with this company anyway. We ended up hiring them because 1) the DJ seemed super cool and laid back, 2) the price was good for what he was offering and, most importantly, 3) he said he would play whatever songs we wanted. Sweet!

The pre-ceremony and dinner music was what I asked for, which was basically "Jack Johnson, Gavin DeGraw-type stuff...I don't care what." The dance floor music, however, was a different story. I didn't want a DJ because I wanted certain songs played. This DJ even asked me for a list of "must play" songs, which I gave him and he went over with us.

I listed about 45 songs to be played on the dance floor. He played about 10 of them...and some of those were horrible remixes ('Bust A Move' mixed with Van Halen?! Why, God, why?! And 'Baby Got Back' was so over-mixed that I couldn't even tell what it was for the first minute. My favorite dance song - slaughtered).

Guests were even complaining to me about the dance music. When I asked a couple of people why they weren't dancing, they said they were waiting for a good song to be played. Ouch. All-in-all, I was very unhappy with the choices.

My wedding was great and I wouldn't have done anything different - except for hiring a DJ. Don't get me wrong, he was a super nice guy...but a typical wedding DJ nonetheless. It was just a bad decision on my part - I should have gone with my gut on this one.

I highly recommend Zach! He does a fantastic job personalizing his work. He's very energizing & professional.

anyone can push a play button on an ipod hooke up to a speaker, and anyone can bring a spotlight and pretend to be a DJ, However Zach Downing is a professional Sound and light technician always always improving his skill and increasing his equipment, from music to lighting the room, projection of your monogram on the dance floor or fixing the video (he did this for me) so that it works. Zach is prompt and wants only the best...
