Our wedding photos and memories are what we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Our wedding was unique and it was important to us that our photographer was able to capture the special moments with an artistic eye. Zach and Katelyn did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what we had imagined. We've had close friends,family members, and even complete strangers (Facebook) tell us they are the coolest wedding photos they've ever seen. We planned our wedding from Chicago. All of our interactions with Zach and Katelyn were via email. We didn't meet them in person until the day of the wedding. They were always super easy to communicate with.

The best thing about these two is their attitude. Zach and Katelyn make such a great team. They did a fabulous job of making the day feel fun and relaxing, not rushed. They are newlyweds and have a fresh perspective on wedding photography. Katelyn was great with direction. They just really seem to love what they do.

Their packages are very reasonably priced for what they offer. Many photographers put a lot of restrictions on their pictures. Zach and Katelyn got our photos up in about 2 weeks and we received our disks in 3. We can't stop looking at them and look forward to starting a family just so we can hire them again ;)

We heard about Zach from a coworker. Zach had shot their wedding and done an amazing job. His work had also been featured by Flickr and his photojournalistic style was unmatched by anyone else we looked at. Look for yourselves - you'll see on his website that his style is unmistakable, one of a kind, incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. Besides, our coworkers experience with Zach and his wife was so incredible we just had to try it for ourselves.

And they were just as incredible as we were told. He and his wife played along so that I could do a 'surprise' engagement for my finance, they did a fantastic job capturing the 'surprise' moment and then patiently walked us through an engagement session.

Zach was able to get both of us comfortable (we've never had professional photos done before) and he and his wife found great spots for us to take photos and great poses for us to take as well. Zach arrived early on location to scout out the best areas and took the time to really get every shot just right. He has a great camera, a great eye and lots of lenses to capture every moment.

Best of all, Zach and his wife have the right attitude - they were professional, fun and just a riot to hang out with. He is so cool!

Turnaround on the photos was quick and they looked amazing - just as I had envisioned and reaffirmed my decision to go with him. I'm so glad he was available.

We met with many photographers, who all had impressive photos and albums, but something about Zach and Katelyn stood out. When we met them at a cafe, we found them to be very easy to get along with and talented, and their young and vibrant style was much more in the 'art' category than the 'cheese' category that many young photographers seem to fall into.

At our wedding, we didn't really notice Z&K except for the family shots and set shots. We made a point to go to all the tables and greet our guests, and Zach followed us and got a lot of shots that our guests really appreciate. By the way, they were especially good with kids, and somehow captured their essence, even with one of my nieces that was not having an especially cooperative day! Z&K hung out with us at the after-party also (that's almost a 14 hour day, folks). As promised, 2 weeks later we got the link to see our photos. WOW! So many instant classics! The quality of the photography was out of this world, and many of our guests and those that have seen the photos have expressed the same sentiment. We are now working on the album and the first draft of what Z&K proposed was fantastic. We are looking forward to getting our few modifications inserted and then receiving the album.

Zach and Katelyn are rising stars and we wholeheartedly endorse their work and recommend them. He told us that he is super-busy now so book in advance - it's worth it!

I was looking for a photographer with a photo-journalistic style that was within my budget. I also wanted all digital negatives so that I could print my own photos. I am also based in New York City and was planning a destination wedding in Temecula, CA so all of my communication with my vendors were mainly through email. I chose Zach Hodges Photography because I loved his online portfolio: lots of vivid candids, creative use of light, and fun poses (not the cheesy type that so many photographers make you do)

Zach and his wife were a fantastic team. Zach even came to my rehearsal the day before the wedding just to get an idea of the venue. On my wedding day, I never felt stressed or rushed with the photography. They stayed all day and all night, accommodated our requests (we had multiple places for photos), and made wonderful suggestions (e.g. asked us if we wanted photos at twilight because it's the best light; walked through an orange grove to get some beautiful shots).

The results? The most beautiful photos we've ever seen. Being an amateur photographer, and my now husband originally being skeptical about the cost (which was less than the average cost of a wedding photographer), we were very impressed.
Our friends and family loved the photos.

Also, the turnaround time was quick! 2 weeks after the wedding (pretty much when we came back from the honeymoon), we already got the online photos. The digital negatives came soon after and then we received a really nice proof book (it was like a nice casual wedding album!)

Even though I was a budget bride, photography was one of my top 3 priorities. Hiring Zach and Katelyn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

The pictures came out perfect and even though we had no light, it worked out and they came out so dramatic! Some friends and family said that some of our photos could be on the front of an album! Not because of me or my handsome groom; but because of their artistic eye and quick thinking in rare circumstances. We are forever greatful!

I can't say enough about working with Zach and his wife Katelyn. They were the nicest people to work with and have a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They also have a GREAT artistic eye. I must have talked to 50 wedding photographers until I finally found Zach. Zach and Katelyn were such a great team! They made me feel so comfortable and they helped keep the energy going throughout the day. And, I LOVED their pictures even more. They did such an amazing job with our photos...really focusing on the details of our wedding as well as capturing the emotion and vibe of the day. Words cannot begin to describe the type of people as well as photographers that Zach and Katelyn are. From the very beginning they were professional, easy to get a hold of, flexible, and accomadating. They always worked around me and my (at the time) fiances scheduele. We got to see their work first-hand when they shot our engagement photos...which is a MUST by the way! I always thought that getting my pictures taken while making out with my fiance (hahaha) would be awkward, but they totally made us feel comfortable the whole time. We were referred to Zach Hodges by Callaway Winery, where we had our reception. We booked Zach and Katelyn just from looking at the online portfolio. After looking at his website we knew that they had a special and unique style that was perfect for our wedding day. We spoke with Zach and Katelyn and felt that they were very professional and we felt comfortable with them. The wedding day was wonderful, Zach and Katelyn were professional and organized. They had the pictures ready to view in only two weeks after our wedding day and after I viewed them I was amazed. Some of our pictures look like we were in a magazine ad and I can't seem to find one picture I do not like. We did not realize that they took some of the pictures they took and was pleasantly surprised when viewing them. Zach and Katelyn had the capability of capturing our perfect day and making it come alive every time we look at our pictures. We highly recommend them!

It’s rare to meet photographers in this wedding industry who are willing to shoot as long as we were willing to be shot during both the engagement session and on our wedding day. With Zach & Katelyn, you can tell they are there purely because they LOVE taking pictures and they enjoy what they do. How amazing is that? We just got married 2 weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier with how EVERYTHING worked out including our photographs. Since they are young newlyweds themselves, they understand “weddings” and it just makes it that much easier and relatable to work with them. They are also very open about everything you want to try at your photo sessions so you get original + creative photos that fits your needs. Zach and Katelyn came highly recommended. They handled our wedding with a great deal of professionalism and enthusiasm even though taking pictures on the Vegas strip proved to be difficult at times.
