Zach Leighton from Stillight Photography did both our wedding and engagement photos. We were extremely pleased with both Zach and his work. He made us feel comfortable and each session was easy and enjoyable. He was very flexible, available, and professional. The photos were amazing and we have received so many compliments. I would definitely suggest Still Light Photography to anybody looking for a wedding photographer! We worked with Still Light for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! Seriously, after months of searching for a good photographer that wouldn’t be too expensive I was beside myself when I found Still Light. Zach and Becky were both super easy and fun to work with and were willing to work with whatever we wanted, we were able to request specific shots and locations and they were completely willing and flexible. They were also great at directing so there was no awkwardness during the photos.

They also worked perfectly for us because their wedding day photography includes unlimited coverage of the wedding day. Since we had a long ceremony it was impossible to find someone who would give us 12 hours of wedding day coverage for the price and quality that they did! We were also able to see the pictures that we had taken before the ceremony at the reception (which the guests thought was so neat!) and then some of the other ones were online within a day or two so we were able to view them before we left the country for our honeymoon, which was awesome!

Laura (my bride) and I had such a great experience with Stilllightphoto. Zach is such an awesome photographer and such a great guy! Not only in his professionalism, flexibility, and everything else listed above but also in his attitude, personality and easy-going spirit that is just incredibly easy and fun to work with... which is especially important on the most important day of your LIFE!! His photography speaks for itself... simply an incredibly talented and gifted photographer. My bride an I are still going crazy over the pics he took and will be for the rest of our lives! He's done an awesome job with our photography and the photography of a few of my friends... so there's something to be said about consistency and reliability as well.

All said and done, if you want great pics and someone completely great to work with, Still Light Photo is where it's at! I've known a lot of photographers and seen a lot of photographers do friends weddings... no one compares.

Zach with Still light Photo did an AMAZING job when it came to our engagement photos and our wedding photos!!! He is very kind, easy to work with, loves his job (which makes everything that much better!), flexible with timing, great attitude, on time (even early), and just all around a great photographer! My husband and I would recommend Zach to anyone who is looking for a fun, outgoing photographer! When it comes to weddings they can be stressful, but Zach made it so there was no stress or worrying when it came to our photos! We are also so very pleased with how wonderful and beautiful our photos came out! His work was just outstanding! We are so glad we chose Still Light Photos as our wedding photographer!

Zach is the man, that's all there is to it. When I initially booked Zach I thought I would have time to put together a shot list of pictures from other weddings that I really loved and plan with him how we wanted the day to be structured, but life got in the way and despite Zach's best efforts my husband and I were sitting with Zach for the first time at 10PM the night before our wedding. Thank God he had his crap together because I definitely didn't!

Even though things got pretty crazy leading up to the wedding day, Zach was very flexible and patient with me even when I took 2 weeks to respond to his emails, professional from start to finish and it was obvious that he knew how to adapt to the level of direction & control his clients desired.

I never realized the importance of a wedding photographer's personality until Zach was standing in front of my entire crazy extended family whom he'd managed to not only gather in one place but arrange them in an orderly group when it struck me that not only were they all paying attention to him but they were having fun! Normally the post-ceremony photo session can be grueling but Zach kept the mood light, stress-free and fun and it showed in our pictures. Zach knows how to strike that perfect balance between being likeable and respected which is crucial when you're dealing a hoard of emotional family members.

When I looked over the photos of our ceremony (which was barely 25 minutes long) I couldn't believe all the ground he managed to cover in that short amount of time. Even though we only had one photographer, you wouldn't know if by the all the angles and perspectives he shot us from.
What's crazier is that I don't even remember seeing him or hearing him one time during our ceremony [which was in a chapel with all-tile floors and extremely good acoustics]. Zach was front and center right when he needed to be and completely out of mind when he didn't. He took the pressure of getting everyone where they needed to be completely off my shoulders so all I had to do was look pretty and enjoy myself :)

Our Wedding was a bit of a drive up to the mountains and turned out to be an adventure in a storm. The storm fortunately let up for the shooting time but driving to and from the venue was a different story. Despite the weather and driving distance, Zach remained positive, professional, flexible, and fun! He makes the photography session very pleasant and creates a atmosphere that puts you at ease even though the camera is pointed at you. His photos are amazing. We are so excited for the quality and professionalism evident in the finalized pictures... can't wait to show the photos off! He is also phenomenal at communicating as needed throughout the engagement process (for engagement photos and planning) and for the wedding day. He is very clear as to his packages and services to make it easy for you to choose what you need. On the wedding day, he was very conscientious of the time to make sure he gets through all the pictures to stay on track with the timeline of the wedding day. After engagement photos and the wedding day, we got our pictures from him very quickly so we didn't have to wait long! WE COMPLETELY RECOMMEND STILL LIGHT PHOTO TO EVERYONE !!!

Zach was fantastic! He does wonderful photography and is super nice. I'd use him again for sure. Also, at the reception he has this awesome box that surrounds his computer that lets your guests see some of the photos that he took that day, it was awesome, and they were beautiful! He is wonderful!

Thanks to Zach Leighton, the photo shoot was probably one of the most relaxing and enjoyable parts of our wedding day. My husband and I got married in July and found Zack through a friend when we were desperately trying to find the right photographer to capture our South Lake Tahoe beach wedding without spending half our budget on pictures. We both agreed that the pictures were one of the most important parts and certainly worth a hood chunk of our budget. He offered us free engagement photo's (which were beautiful and very fun and creative) as well as going all the way from Sacramento to South Lake Tahoe at almost no extra charge, and even brought a second photographer as a bonus! Zack is incredibly professional with a passion for capturing every blissful moment. He is so creative and flexible with making photo's unique, without compromising on the aesthetics of the pictures. He is amazing at giving direction, and helping to make each shot look perfect. He planned each detail of our day with a timeline that we agreed on before the day. He was always prompt to return any emails, phone calls or text messages I shot his way, answering every one of my questions with patience, knowledge and a solution to each problem I encountered. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer or more beautiful pictures of the most amazing day of my life. I would hire Still Light Photo again and again.
