Zales-Arbor Place Mall

Purchased a wedding band for my husband at Zales. Service was good, once the sales person got to us, and we got a decent sale price on the selected ring.

had to have custom band made for ring which was a disaster. The company didn't follow the instructions, didn't communicate with the Jared's store, & I am NOT satisfied with the end result. The Jared's staff did very little to solve the problem, provided incorrect information which resulted in wasted trips to the store and didn't provide any adjustment in price of the ring. I WOULD NOT recommend this store.

ring was beautiful and we received excellent service.

The jeweler was extremely helpful and helped us to choose somtething within our budget that was beautiful and affordable.

Just a basic zales- not amazing, not terrible. no complaints, but I wasn't "wow'd"

I am not usually a fan of "mall" jewelers, because they usually charge a lot more. However, after looking at Zales, I found a wedding band that I liked and didn't see the same style anywhere else. We negotiated a lower price with one of the sales clerks, giving us about a 20% discount. I then decided to wait on it for a little while, to make sure that was what I really wanted. A few hours later, we returned but could not find the same sales clerk. We told the new clerk that we had negotiated a rate for the ring earlier. At first she refused to give us the discount. When we were about to leave, she said she could give the 20% discount as a "special discount" but that we couldn't tell anyone. This to me seemed fishy. While a year later I am happy with my ring, I want everyone to know that if you purchase from a mall jeweler to always negotiate a lower rate. I think they intentionally raise their prices so they can "lower" them to give you a deal.
