Zuhrah Shrine Center

The event coordinator, Amy, is awesome! We got married in the Harrington Mansion and had our reception in the Twin Cities ballrooms adjoined. There were a couple hiccups (heating noises and wedding rehearsal mix-ups), but Amy took it all in stride and was a great help. The location itself is GORGEOUS. It was absolutely perfect for our wedding!

We used the Harrington Mansion as a ceremony site only but it was absolutely gorgous. It was perfect for a smaller wedding (we had 73 bodies total) and we had tons of compliments about the ceremony space. This is the place to get married with a WOW, dramatic backdrop. We got married on the landing of the grand staircase with stained glass behind us and our photographer (Betsy Wall Photography) was able to capture all of the best things about the space.
The coordinator was very flexible and we, as well as our vendors, we allowed to drop in and get a feel for the space. We would highly recomend the Harrington Mansion!

Booked one room and was moved into another; was told a month before the wedding, they refused to fix problem. Booked the wrong time in the mansion. Coordinator still hasn't called us back for followup on the reception.

Food was good, excellent wait/bar staff.

Get everything in writing upfront. Great venue, wonderful service staff and food. We had a couple headaches, but everything went well on our big day!

The Zuhrah Shrine Center is a beautiful and inexpensive location. Our room, THe Minnetonka Room was very spacious, and has a HUGE dance floor. The food was delicious! The hall could use decorations (ceiling draping), but doesn't need it. Again, Food was DELICIOUS!

It was a beautiful place. I had a little trouble getting a hold of the event planner, but it is non profit. It is owned by the Shriner's better known for the shrine circus. The food is amazing and very well priced. I was very pleased.

The only thing that went wrong was the speaker system didn't work as well in the back of the reception hall and also that they said they would have 2 bars open for all the guests and they only had one. other than that it was beautiful with the lights on the ceiling and the food was amazing.

Our wedding ceremony was held at the Harrington mansion and it was the most charming and unusual ceremony. My only complaint was that there was no air conditioning and it was a 95 degree day in October! But the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was fantastic. The food was affordably priced and surprisingly delicious! The wait staff were very professional and helpful in setting up the tables for the reception. I would definitely plan to spend a few extra dollars to upgrade the table settings. I'm glad we chose the Zurah Shrine Center -- I have absolutely no regrets!

They were very flexible and the foodd was wonderful. It was a little less formal than I expected but a wonderful time.

Everything went fine until the few weeks before and then my calls were not returned. I was quite angry and had to try several times until I was able to get the coordinator on the phone to go over all the last-minute details. Music was playing upstairs while we were getting married (during the actual ceremony)2 floors below. The coordinator also brought a couple through while we were taking pictures beforehand. Decent price, but not worth the crap I got for having some rap song in the background during my vows.
