This popular modified mermaid silhouette has a more fluid line that a true mermaid style gown. The taffeta gown is very loosely shirred, following the bodys contour through the hips and then flairs out moderately, falling into a chapel length train. The waist is accented with a taffeta sash, delicately beaded in the front, which can be ordered in the same color as the dress or in an accent color. Long tails fall from pre-formed loops down the back of this classic gown. Very picturesque!
