Picking the perfect silhouette for your body type will help enhance the features you want to show off. Necklines are also important for deciding on which gown to choose. Here are some tips for picking out the perfect silhouette for your body type.
Straight (Thick Waist)
Do:
Silhouettes: Empire waist, A-line
Necklines: Any decorative neckline such as a bejeweled or ruffled halter will help direct eyes away from the waist.
Don't :
Silhouettes: Princess line, basque or dropped waist
Necklines: Avoid necklines such as bateau or unadorned short scoops. This will make you appear wider and short waisted.
Broad Shoulder/Big Busted
Do :
