Here are some tips for picking out the perfect silhouette for your body type.
Straight (Thick Waist)
Do:
Silhouettes: Empire waist, A-line
Necklines: Any decorative neckline such as a bejeweled or ruffled halter will help direct eyes away from the waist.
Don't :
Silhouettes: Princess line, basque or dropped waist
Necklines: Avoid necklines such as bateau or unadorned short scoops. This will make you appear wider and short waisted.
