He Loves Me, He Loves Me Nautical

We are having a summer wedding at a lighthouse near Cape Cod. We chose navy, white, and yellow as our colors.

I chose the Riverside dress from 57 Grand because it is fun, flirty, and elegant, just like my bridesmaids. The champagne color also matches perfectly with the navy and yellow nautical designs that I chose for my wedding. This is also a dress that will not have to stay in the closet after the wedding! The girls can wear it again and again!

I chose the look that I did, because while I am having a rather formal wedding, I wanted to show how the same nautical chic feel can be created when wearing the dress at another, less formal event. I thought this look would be fun for a day adventure on a boat or shopping around Cape Cod with the other half, of course!

The love knot earrings are not overstated and are a perfect nautical piece. And, nothing screams nautical like a good, old fashioned anchor, as in the ring I chose. I also love blue and white stripes, and in my opinion, any nautical chic outfit needs something striped. Big deal if the shoes match my blue and white striped wedding cake!

The yellow bag and pashmina (which is not only cute but will keep you warm!) add a bit of brightness to the whole outfit. What's great, too, is that you can switch out the yellow pieces for red and have a different look! How fun is that!
