In the end, Bachelorette Jillian Harris turned down proposals from two guys, Kiptyn and Reid, and chose the man of her dreams, Ed!

And Ed Swiderski, a 29-year-old technology consultant, chose the perfect engagement ring for his future bride! Ed had a little help from world famous celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who shared all of the details about the ring:

A diamond and platinum ring set with a pear shaped diamond weighing 2.05 carats, the center diamond is further accented with six baguettes and 94 round cut diamonds which weigh 1.03 carats for a total diamond weight of 3.08 carats.  This custom ring, designed and signed by Neil Lane, is handmade.

Jillian tells People she "can't stop looking at" the $60,000 sparkler, while Ed confesses he didn't know anything about diamonds, but that this one stood out for him and was just "incredible."

What do you think PW gals? Do you think Ed chose well? Did Jillian make the right decision?

I wouldn't want such a gaudy ring even if we could afford it.  I don't understand people spending that kind of money on a piece of jewelry, do you think the ring is going to ensure a successful marriage?!  I just think that it's way too big and way too expensive.  My ring was very important to me, but it was also important to me that we not spend a fortune.  I wanted a trillion cut solitaire, which are hard to come by, but can be special ordered.  I investigated online and I found THE ring just across the river from my home for sale by a private individual, who had gotten it back in less than 3 wks from his fiance!  We have the original paperwork for the ring and still receive the free inspections and cleanings thru the jewelry store where it was purchased....retail value:  $6,803.00 and we paid:  $1900.00!!!!  Can you say 'SCORE?!?!'  I LOVE the ring and no one would know it was someone else's ring and I don't even mind telling obviously.  My fiance and I saved a TON of money and have more money to put towards our wedding or even household updates needed for co-habitating.

So, my future MIL said that it was made of quartz.  Is that true?  I personally think the ring looks stunning on her hand but it's not my personal choice.  However, that said I am all for the custom designed wedding ring.  Mine is custom done by the owner of Markham Fine Jewlers.  Good job Jill--Ed was my choice too.

So happy Jilly finally found true love--and the sparkler isn't too bad either! I picked Ed from day one.  I wish I could make a job out of bachelor/bachelorette predictions!
