Orange is a vibrant, beautiful color that symbolizes enthusiasm, determination, happiness and attraction. This bright color can be used to warm up any wedding, no matter the season. If you’ve chosen the color palette orange for your big day, you’re sure to be thrilled with the results! Here are a few different ways in which you can incorporate orange into your wedding.

Orange Wedding Flowers

Orange flowers are bright and cheerful, inspiring happiness and congeniality in people – which makes them perfect for a wedding. Whether you’re choosing flowers for your bouquet, centerpieces or other décor, you have many options – including orange Calla Lilies, Roses, Gerbera Daisies, Dahlias and Tulips. Ranunculus flowers make absolutely breathtaking bouquets when paired with muted yellow flowers, such as Freesia.

Orange flowers range in shades from light peach-orange to dark and rich pumpkin orange. This allows you a great deal of options when planning your wedding floral arrangements around this color.

Orange Wedding Décor

Once you’ve found charming and beautiful flowers using the color palette orange, you will need to determine what sort of décor you will have. Because orange is such a bright color which demands attention, it is best used with a muted base color such as cream or butter-yellow. When used in this way, the splashes of orange will make a beautiful and dramatic statement.

Orange colored sashes against cream-colored chair covers are a perfect example of this technique and the effect is stunning. Consider using a base color such as ivory for your tablecloth and using shades of orange in the plates, napkin rings, etc. You can also find many other types of décor for your orange color palette, including ribbons, tulle, fruits and much more. Orange is a perfect color to choose for a fall wedding. Just a few colors that work well with orange include cream, shades of yellow and sage-green.

Extras for Your Orange Wedding

Bridesmaid’s dresses are absolutely gorgeous in orange or with orange accents if the right shades are chosen. There are also many different choices for orange favors, including embroidered tote bags, candles, tangerine body products and orange Jordan Almonds. One thing you may want to remember as you’re adding lovely orange items to your ceremony and reception is that this color stimulates the appetite – so be sure you have plenty of food to serve your guests!

Orange is a beautiful color that can create quite an effect for your wedding if you balance it properly with coordinating colors. It’s a perfect and happy color to use when promising your hand to the one you love!

@article author: What kind of flower is the tall, frilly flower in the second photograph? It would actually be very helpful for people if you listed several arrangements and the name of the flowers in each.

@girlnextdoor: What kind of flowers are those? Can you please give credit to the website or photographer?

Our colors are chocolate and latte but our flower are going to be the two -toned red and orange roses with sticks coming out of the bouquets and the center pieces since its a fall wedding. I can't wait the image in my head is gorgeous. The dresses the girls are wearing compliment my wedding dress and they too are latte (for four of the bridesmaids) and chocolate (for the maid of honor)......
