Create an Organic Green & White Tabletop
Don’t be afraid to keep things simple with an organic-inspired tabletop! (expert advice)
Don't be afraid to keep things simple with an organic-inspired tabletop. Keep the focus on good food and family by letting your table stops be ultra simple and natural. Inspired by a moss-laden tree, we set our table with a green and white color scheme. We used a natural linen cloth for our table, white rental dishes, and homemade gingham napkins. Apples with postal tags served as our favors.
We filled recycled jam jars with alchimilla, candytuft, sweet woodruff, salal, sage, mint and sedum. Ask friends if you can clip greens from their backyards, fill in with a few bunches of salal from your neighborhood florist, and you'll be set.
Collect vintage pitchers to serve beverages and to add a personal touch to each table. And remember, your tables don't need to match! As long as you stay in the same color family, feel free to mix and match as you please!
