DIY: Bridal Shower Favors and Other Goodies!

We gave my co-worker a small bridal shower at local restaurant near work. Since I LOVE DIYs, but don't have a wedding to plan anymore I volunteered to make favors and advice cards. I also made her a little booklet so she can put the advice cards in, kind of like a scrap book... check out how it turned out
DIY potted flowers - everyone loved them and they all got to take one home

Advice cards - we set up a card at each place setting and asked everyone to write down their advice for the bride. It was fun reading them out loud after everyone was done, and a cool little keepsake for the bride! :)
Booklet for advice cards -I made her a matching booklet with blank pages so that she can add photos and the advice cards in it. The cover read, "Wise Words of Wisdom - A Collection of Advice from Monika's Shower July 1, 2009"

- Flower pots set of 2 for .99 cents - Total purchased 5 sets = $5
- Raffia ribbon - .99 cents each - Total used 2 = $2
- Zinnia flowers - purchased 3 six packs for $2.29 each = $6.87
- paper goods - about $3 from Michaels
Grand Total = $16.87
