Here are the directions:

Buy 300 pack dollar rose petals from Dollar Tree or where ever you can find them

Fill a big pot with hot water and place on the stove

Then take Rit Dye(from most craft stores)....whatever color you want.if you want a custom color go on Rit's website and see how to mix two of their colors to make a special color like I did (Coral)

Put the dye in the warm/hot water(if you want put the burner on low for like 10 min into the process to make the dye dissolve the best...start pouring the petals in

I put about 1,500 in a pot this size..just keep mashing them down

Let them soak for a while and randomly stir and kinda flip petals up from the bottom so the top ones can get down a soak.

keep in mind they will be a bit darker when wet so make sure you obtain the color you want by taking something(like a color swatch) and put it next to it to see if you have gotten the right shade yet.

When you have take the pot of petals and pour water out into a strainer or direction in a side of the sink.  Eventually let all the petals go in the sink so you can squeeze the excess water out...run them under warm water and eventually cold.  Get all the excess water and dye out until they run clear
