DIY Project: Bridal Shower Centerpiece
Brighten up your bridal shower with fun and easy centerpieces! (expert advice)
This lush and elegant springtime centerpiece looks like a high priced florist arrangement but was easily made with an old cake pan and a few bunches of inexpensive daffodils from the farmer's market.
You will need:
2 square or round cake pans that stack inside each other: Approximately: $8.00
Aluminum foil
Scissors
10 bunches of Daffodils (prices vary)
Step #1: Line the smaller cake pan with cellophane or tin foil. You can also place a low, glass or plastic liner inside
Step# 2: Grab a handful of daffodils and cut their stems to about 3 inches.
Step # 3: Place the bunch of flowers at the corner of the container so the blossoms hang over the edge a bit and are supported by the edge of the container.
Step #4: Keep repeating Step #4, starting with one corner and building your way around the container. The flower stems will hold each other up this way.
Step #5: Place flowers in the center and fill in any other holes you see in the arrangement. Daffodils like to bend their faces down. For some of the flowers you may need to tip them at the neck to make sure their faces show.
Total cost for one centerpiece: $35
