DIY Wedding Challage 2010 - Monogramed Luminaries

YOU WILL NEED:

-White lunch bags or white luminary bags

-Exacto-knife

-Template of your choice (I used the letter "L" in Edwardian Script)

-Cardboard, Stencil sheets or something hard to cut your stencil into (I used the front of a Mead Notebook!)

TO MAKE:

1) Print the letter in the font and size you would like (Be sure it is large enough for your bag)

2)Cut out the template with and exacto-knife

3)Trace this onto a hard surface ( I used the front of a mead notebook - which was free. You can also purchase stencil paper) and cut out with an exacto knife.

*NOTE: When you trace and cut your final stencil, be sure there are no "stray" pieces. I had to improvise mine a bit so that the middle of the loop would not fall out. You want a stencil that will stay together when cut.

4)Now you have your own personalized stencil.

5)Trace and cut onto the white luminary bags!
