DIY Wedding Challenge: Seaside STD or Invites
Send your guests a little piece of paradise with these easy to make cards (community article)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: we used a Fiskars Paper Trimmer to cut cards and vellum.
1. Design the layout for your backing card. We used a color photo of our ceremony site and some text. Print and cut to the size of your clear pockets (ours were 4x6)
2. Design the layout for your vellum top sheet, print and cut to size. (We listed our wedding information).
3. Layer the vellum over the printed card stock and insert into the clear pocket.
Add in seashells or other embellishments (we chose not to use sand to lighten the weight for mailing) and seal the pocket.
4. Finish the look with a length of raffia or ribbon.
5.We also added magnets to the back for guest to affix to their fridge or filing cabinets.
We used vellum envelopes and added the guests names and mailed the entire thing in a bubble mailer.
