Send your guests home with cheery plants! We've chosen bright zinnias in three colors. To give the plants a homemade touch, wrap them in Kraft paper and tie with a string. Then add a white office tag and stamp it with table numbers or each guests name.

You will need:

A flat of bright, seasonal annuals

White or brown Kraft paper

White tags

Scissors

String

Stamps (letters or numbers)

Ink

Step 1: Cut 2 squares out of the paper about 4 x the size of the pot.

Step 2: Wrap the paper around the pot so it just barely covers the pot and the bottom of the plant.

Step 3: Tie a string around it to secure.

Step 4: Stamp names or numbers on white tags. Put plenty of ink on the stamps and then press very quickly and lightly onto the tag with the stamp. Then tie the string on the plant using the string that is already wrapped around the plant.

Step 6: Place all the plants in a wooden crate to display at the entrance of your event.

Sending your guests home with flowers is eco-friendly and the wrapping and stamping adds a homemade, personal touch.

Love this idea!  And these could be used for other wedding related events, like the bridal shower, where everyone will be (most likely) local & not getting back on a plane.  :)

I love the idea of plants as favours, but some of my family is travelling from abroad for my wedding, so it's a no-go :/
