Easy Flower Centerpieces
Make these effortless, beachy centerpieces for your summer wedding! (expert advice)
Floating centerpieces are simple, and can be assembled by you and your friends with minimal effort! Plus, they are inexpensive. We made this centerpiece for $20! Roses, dahlias, peonies, ranunculus, or camellias are perfect flowers for this project.
Here's what you'll need:
Waterproof trays (we used thrifted, waterproof, wooden ones, but silver or ceramic work great too and are easy to find at thrift shops!)
15-20 open flowers (we used garden roses)
Fill trays halfway with water. Snap the stems off the flowers, right under the flower so that they can float. Fill trays with flowers. Mix different size flowers for the best impact but be sure and have at least 3-5 large flowers in each. Keep out of direct sunlight! Bowls work great for round tables and trays are ideal for long rectangular tables. Add matching napkins and you have a cool summer table. Enjoy!
