Father Daughter Dance Songs

I thought about which song my dad and I would dance to for a long time. Though I am really into music, my dad isn't at all.... but the one thing he IS absolutely obsessed with is the New York Yankees. He's been a diehard fan for life, and loves when I call his cell phone because he's programmed his ringtone to "New York, New York" (the song they play after every Yankees home game). Though it doesn't have that "father/daughter sentiment" to it, it means a lot to him and to me. It's not a traditional choice, but I know he's going to light up once I tell him I'd like to dance to his favorite song in honor of his favorite team. Plus, there's a really fun opportunity for some kickline theatrics at the end :)

CarolinV - my best friend just got married this weekend, and though she had a father-daughter dance, her mother struggled with breast cancer for years and my bride wanted to share a dance with her mother as well. My friend selected "Like My Mother Does" by Kristy Lee Cook, and the dance they shared was beautiful. If the two of you like country music at all, you might find this song appropriate. I need help, my husband passed away when my daughter was only 3 yrs old. The thought of Father /Daughter dance has haunted for for years. I need a really special Mother Daughter dance song.  My plan is to start the dance with her then have her dads sisters and her gramma step in through out the song. Does anyone have a good song?
