Green and Yellow Table Top Inspiration
This seasonal color palette is easy and effortless! (expert advice)
Make things easy and effortless by sticking to a simple, seasonal color scheme for your reception. You can't go wrong with something bright and cheerful like green, yellow and white!
We started with basic white rentals (white tablecloth and Chivari chairs) readily available at most rental companies (we used Portland based, West Coast Event Productions).
Next, we added white plates, homemade gingham napkins in green and white, and green Italian candies (find similar candy at Amazon or the exact candies can be ordered here.) For vases, we rented white pitchers. They are very inexpensive to rent (ours were around $1.50 to $2.00 a piece) so they make for an economical centerpiece. We added a few bunches of flowers from the farmer's market and haphazardly arranged them. No technique needed!
Just make sure you re-cut the stems and provide them with fresh water. Daffodils, viburnum, and ranunculus were our spring choices. For summer, try yellow roses, annabel hydrangea, and dahlias. Total cost of our centerpiece was $15 -- including containers!
