Surprise! The divine Mrs. M and actor-hubby Nick Cannon stunned everyone when they wed in a top secret ceremony last April on the beach in the Bahamas after dating for just one month! According to ET, the intimate nuptials took place at Mariah's home there and was a last-minute, impulsive decision for the couple, who had quickly fallen in love. Mariah later told Ellen DeGeneres she would marry Cannon again next year in a larger ceremony, where more friends could be present. Cannon surprised his bride with a honeymoon bash at Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, CA, where he shut down the entire park to the public. About 100 friends enjoyed the party, which included purple and pink roses, personalized cupcakes and signs everywhere that read, "Nick and Mariah: A Love Story."

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi

Ellen and Portia wed in front of family and close friends last August right in their Los Angeles backyard. According to People.com, author Wayne Dyer officiated the ceremony, where Ellen and Portia recited personalized vows while sitting on giant floor pillows. Guests dined on an all-vegan menu and a vegan red velvet wedding cake, made by Sweet Lady Jane bakery. Both wore designer Zac Posen and exchanged rings by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane. Their precious pooches took part in the touching event as well, which Ellen called, "the happiest day of her life." 

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z

Songbirds Beyonce and Jay-Z also celebrated an intimate wedding at the rapper's New York City penthouse apartment last April. Family and close friends, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and Beyonce's "Destiny's Child" band mates were on-hand for the nuptials, which took place in the early evening. Us magazine reports that white candles and hundreds of crème and white orchids provided the gorgeous backdrop for the event, which included a 5-foot-tall wedding cake and lots of champagne. The partying and dancing reportedly went on until about 4:30 a.m.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz

Ashlee and her "Fall Out Boy" rocker beau Pete also celebrated their big day at the Simpson family home in Los Angeles last May. The "Alice in Wonderland" themed event featured white couches, black area rugs, black chandeliers and lots of red roses, while the whimsical wedding cake had a tea pot, stop watch and kettle on top. Ashlee's dad Joe reportedly officiated the ceremony. Ashlee's big sis Jessica was a bridesmaid, and among the 150 attendees? Jessica's boyfriend Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. The ringbearer was Pete's own English bulldog Hemingway.

The king of all media wed his model girlfriend in October at N.Y.'s famous restaurant Le Cirque, as guests like Donald Trump, Chevy Chase, Kelly Ripa, Joan Rivers, Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel, Barbara Walters, Robin Quivers and Billy Joel attended the star-studded nuptials. Ripa's husband Mark Consuelos officiated the ceremony as Joel performed a few of his famous tunes. According to Us Weekly, the couple laughed and cried throughout the ceremony, which was held under a gorgeous canopy of white orchids. The bride wore a sexy, cut-out Georgina Chapman wedding gown and later told Us, "The night was perfect ... Donald Trump told Howard he feels the marriage will last forever!" Guest dined on tuna tataki and striped bass with caviar and enjoyed toasts from Kimmel, Chase and Artie Lange.
